Recently, I’ve experienced a shift in service that left me feeling uncomfortable and dismissed. What once felt warm and inviting has become cold and unprofessional through eye-rolling, dismissive responses, and careless service. Respect should never depend on how often someone visits, who they are, or what they look like — professionalism is the standard, not the exception. As patrons, we notice the small things — tone, body language, and how we are treated when we walk through the door. Establishments should remember that every guest is observing, every interaction matters, and every moment reflects the character of the business. My hope is simple: that businesses remain mindful of how staff attitudes shape the entire experience. “10/10 Mother's Day Brunch was amazing! We come all the time for the brunches. they are always well stocked/fresh, hot, and so many options to choose from. the service is always wonderful! The staff always helpful and super sweet. The owner is always on the floor talking to customers, grabbing food or drinks, cleaning tables, seating people, doing whatever she can to make the experice smooth. “I knew I was in for somethin special when I walked up into their parkin' field and saw small rocks gravellin it up all fancy like. This upscale establishment had walls from floor to ceiling on all sides. It even had not one, but two doors to go through. And get this, they on the hinges! Wow. But that's nothing compared to what I discovered entering the final door... the floor... i thought they forgot to put da sawdust down and Id be walking on raw dirt, naw, naw, it was better than saw dust. You ever hear of fellers puttin down wood across an entire floor? That must have taken a lot of dedicated non drinkers a lot of time. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to know they cared enough for me to spend all that time for me. I went to look up to the Heavens and thank God, but I couldn't see a cloud in sight. You know that dang place had a roof on it? And not any normal roof, a roof without a hole in it? Well I forgot what happened next, but I woke up in a ditch, pulled out my phone and wrote this review. I'm not sure if it was real or some kind of dream, but if I can find my way back to the country, where all the people want to be nice to everyone(like everyone everyone should learn to be nice to each other) , I'd walk right back in. “Stopped in at Oliver’s Pourhouse after a long day and it hit the spot real good. Burger was juicy, fries come out hot, and the drink they mixed for me went down easy after work. Folks inside were friendly, checked on me a couple times, and the place felt clean and laid back, not stuffy. For the price I walked out full and relaxed, I’d sure swing back through here again“
