“Fantastic experience. If you are looking for an old school diner, this is the spot. Food came out fast and the service was great. Seating was tight, but comfortable. Portions were large. The omelet was super fluffy and pretty good. Ended up getting a shirt as a souvenir.“

“Great local diner! I'll take the bus at the corner of my street or drive. Either way it's worth the trip and the money. 10 minute ride on the bus and a quick drive and it's directly next to a good craft brew shop with good food there also. . this place is thumbs up ?. This area of Philadelphia is cool to socialize! Really neighborly/ friendly. Come stop in and eat“

“Just had a delivery. Ordered their cheese burger rare. I wanted a nice juicy burger dripping in flavor. Came 80% close. But loved it. I'd order it again Driver followed instruction. The only thing. Like customer service on phone. Don't speak eng listening so communication was like talking on phone tech support. But the food was good. English speaking not so much“

“I seriously do not have a problem paying $8.99 for a grilled cheese with raw onion and fries (April 23 10:30 am), however, maybe 2 pieces of cheese with about half an onion is not acceptable. It is called a grilled cheese after all ? Attached is a real grilled cheeseParking: All good“

“Great local family-owned restaurant. We had a large party of 12. We were surprised they had no problem sitting us immediately.Standard, hearty diner food. Fresh, hot and good. It seemed like we had hardly finished ordering and the food started arriving. Extremely fast!Highly recommend this spot as a go-to for breakfast. And they were flexible, willing to serve anything on the menu at 8:30 AM. Who eats wings for breakfast? This guy!Eat here! You won’t regret itParking: Difficult intersection but parking on both sides of the diner.“

“Parking: Parking is fine unless it's a busy hour like Sun or Sat mornings then it can be tricky.Kid-friendliness: Kid Friendly is kind of mediocre. There is a menu, small but straight forward. Highchairs and boosters available. Cups with lids are offered which is great.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp for access to the door.“

“For us, this is the “Year of the Diner” and the Mayfair did not disappoint. It is a large diner with the usual diner fare. Our waitress was great! Friendly and accommodating to our requests. The food was good, served quickly. The shredded potatoes with crunchy edges were a surprise. The diner is accessible, with wide isles, plenty of open tables and roomy booths. The staff sang happy birthday to a 5 year old behind us. Very sweet. Lots of families. The spaces in the parking lot are on the small side, so cars are very close to each other, making it difficult to get in/out of the car doors. There is also street parking right in front of the diner.“

“I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you. We came on Wednesday for a lunch after my mom's funeral since I grew up going here. Your staff was amazing and super friendly, especially our server. The food was delicious and plentiful. Everything was done perfectly. This was exactly how my mom would have wanted it so great job and thank you.“

“I went to lancers recently which has always been a favorite of mine. I ordered the eggs benedict w canadian bacon and medium poached eggs. Now maybe im expecting too much but the eggs were almost underdone and extremely runny. On top of that the ham they used was ham steak instead of canadian bacon. This wasnt bad persay but wasnt what i ordered at all.several times throughout my meal another server needed to accommodate me as mine maade herself frequently unavailable. This was frustrating as it made it hard to mention the food or to get further drinks. I still tipped well because i dont know what is going ultimately, but it felt like i wasnt an important table. All in all this experience has me looking for diners who can cook eggs the way i want which is something i didnt want to have to do.“

“Not crazy about Jakes in Newtown therefore I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the Richboro location as much as I did. Service was right on. Pleasant, friendly and efficient...just what good services is all about. My feta omelette was cooked perfectly and quite good. The restaurant is larger in the inside than what it looks like from the outside. Three rooms with a bar in the 3rd room. Lots of comfortable booths. Looks like it could use some modernizing but still comfy and clean. I think of Jakes as a breakfast restaurant so I was surprised to see a full bar and open till 10pm. For a "breakfast" restaurant I give it 4.5 stars...rounding it up to 5.“

“Finally stopped for breakfast for the first time after passing by almost every day for the past 5 years. Visited early in the morning for breakfast so it was quiet and traffic wasn’t as bad as it usually is in the area. No complaints. Breakfast was good. Served quickly. Felt homey. Typical good options and fair prices. Would eat breakfast here again.“

“Their pancakes here are amazingly fluffy. We have came here a couple times and the food has been great. Good breakfast spot in the area with good service and prices are reasonable. We normally come here on a Sunday after church and it does get pretty busy but you get seated pretty quickly.“

“I loved my experience here. As a Senior citizen, you can't beat the Senior discount menu. It was outstanding. The food was discernably much higher than you could expect from a diner. My waitress was sweet and attentive. She made me feel right at home. I had the stuffed flounder from the Sr. Menu and it came with the salad bar which made it an exceptional value. I would have given it 5 stars for atmosphere except I was really uncomfortable with the phone conversation I was forced to overhear about highly unsavory and unpleasant matters 4 or so booths away. You never know what you're going to get in any given diner, but It was like that Saturday Night Live sketch with Jason Momoa where he plays an Uber driver. If that guy had not ruined my meal by putting his highly uncomfortable conversation on speakerphone I would have given it 5 stars. I am absolutely coming back again.“

“I have spent the past 42 years eating at many Greek family owned restaurants. Break Time Family Restaurant has yummy & generous sized portions. I ate Break Time Family Restaurant & Diner three times in one week.Their Cobb Salad is so fresh that you do not need salad dressing to enhance its taste. The wait staff is prompt in food delivery. And, they are friendly. Look for blue roof & fresh white siding building across Walgreens on York Road. It is well worth the drive.Parking: If needed, you can park on the side & back of the restaurant.“

“First time ordering the kids sampler for my daughter and Omgsh I’ve never seen bigger fluffier more delicious pancakes. Everything was yummy but the pancakes were definitely the star of the show; they are massive. I can’t say enough about the service too. Highly recommended! I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because it was crowded not in a bad way but it was definitely a full house and I can see why. ?yum!“

“There are 3 Foundational Black Americans working in John's Diner, and I'm telling you, if it wasn't for those 3 pros, John's Diner would be out of business. When I tell you the food is delicious and has that clean taste of old fashioned diner food. You know I'm impressed. Big ups, too, those 3 workers. ? ? ?“

“My favorite little place near Abington! Delicious food with great prices to match it! Never had a bad experience with any of the servers here. The older gentleman who takes payments is very nice whenever I come in. All food is good, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner! Usually takes me longer to figure out what I want because it's all so good!Kid-friendliness: Brought my four year old cousin here and there were absolutely no problems! They were very nice to him and offered to have his food come out first“

“Great breakfast at the counter this morning to start my birthday. The owner, Anna, heard it was my birthday and gave me a huge piece of birthday pie complete with a candle to make a wish. Daddypops is the place to go when you need to fill up for the day.“
