“The absolute best local spot. The owner Ryan loves what he does and often enjoys his own spot. Which is so nice to see. The bar tenders are very helpful and hilarious. The drinks are always fun. They have bands, food trucks, trivia night, etc. etc. That front parking lot durning good weather being backed with families and friends hanging out brings life to York Rd and Hatboro!“

“We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in September 2024. We had about 50 people and were able to rent out the entire indoor space. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

“@halal_mexican is a hidden gem in Philadelphia that has some of the best HALAL Mexican cuisine that I’ve ever tasted. I love that I was able to find a Mexican halal spot. Pictured: -Flautas -Shrimp Chimichanga -Mini Corn on the Cob -Chicken Tacos -Steak Burrito Bowl My favorite item from there has to be the flautas. It’s a deep fried rolled chicken tacos served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Highly recommend this restaurant to all those seeking a tasty mexican restaurant with good service and halal food! “We just discovered this place after dining in Chestnut Hill for over 7 years. We could not be more in love. Incredible sandwiches. Such a laidback, cozy vibe. It’s clear that it’s a local favorite when you walk in. The kindest people work there. You feel like you step into a friend’s house & you get to have an incredible sandwich while you’re there. Went for the first time on Thursday, and went back on Sunday. If you’re on the fence, let this be the review that convinces you to go! It’s seriously so good.“

“My boyfriend and I come to the restaurant quite often! Rina, her husband, her father, their daughter, and all staff are amazing! If you walked out or passed by this restaurant, you NEED to try it out! As an ex waitress, sometimes it’s a good idea to make a reservation on a Friday/Saturday night. They have plenty of space to serve you and those you’re with. I know sometimes people can get hopped up because “they’re not getting waited on”, but trust me, they know you’re there, just be patient and the food is always worth it! They’re always accommodating when it comes to your food and choices.

This is THE ONLY restaurant that’s survived this area. I’ve been in this area since 1995 and there have been MANY restaurants here.

The pizza cost $10.00, which is good value.“

“I have been here for dinner a few times over the years, recently the food seems to have an amazing plate and very delicious! The past two times we were there we had sat at the bar, the bartender Emma was SO nice and attentive! “Great little Burger place right across the street from the Keswick Theater. We stopped in before a Hooters show, needless to say they were swamped, but service was fast and very delicious! You can certainly tell they use good beef in their burgers. The fries were hot and and a nice amount. Definitely will come back anytime I'm in Glenside“

“I really love this coffee shop, it’s the only decent one that I know of in the area too. I also like buying their beans cause they smell and taste so good. I get the giddy up one, smell it and you’ll know what I mean. I always get a basic oat milk latte but I’ve tried my friend’s lavender latte and they put actual lavender in it which is awesome.“

“I've been eating here since I was a kid and it's definitely just the best Chinese takeout I've had in the city. The general tsos are super good and have a nice flavor and consistency and the wings are also great. I prefer their fried rice as a side to their lo mein but can't go wrong with either. While there's other dishes I love these are the must haves, I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area and hungry for some Chinese takeout. Remember though, it's cash only.“

“Was here recently for a colleague’s birthday party. They rented a private room with food + bottle service. Off street parking was definitely a huge plus. The staff was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the place seemed pretty chill. My only critique is the karaoke interface is not very intuitive, and the selection for ACTUAL karaoke/instrumental tracks are very limited because they only use Spotify for the music. It’s more like a sing-along than karaoke. I would suggest using youtube instead of spotify because YouTube’s selection of music for karaoke is far superior. Other than that, the place is great!“
