I come here around twice a month, and I always get take out - the pulled pork shoulder with the crispy skin on top (they got to use scissors to cut it), yellow rice, beans, and the spicy green salsa when they have it. The mango juice (when available) in the cooler on your left while ordering is a great accompaniment! I enjoy talking to the other customers about what they like, and how great everything is.“

“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

“Let me tell you I had the best experience at Chestnut Hill Brewing Company. I had my rehearsal lunch there for a large wedding party of 18. Alex Prost helped me from the beginning of this process to the end. He was friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. He went out of his way to correct an issue with our order and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that. The food was delicious and my party had a wonderful time! We will definitely be back to try more items!“

“We tried Tropical Smoothie Cafe for the first time. Everyone was very friendly. Service was quick. We tried the Acia bowl with Nutella. It was very good but smaller compared to other local places. We also had the spinach feta and pesto wrap. It was delicious. The wraps are small, however it was perfect for me. It was just over $5, it is an actual serving size. I will order that again. I paired that with the Bahama Mama smoothie to get the combo deal. The smoothie was so good. We will definitely go back.“

“First time trying crumbl and this location was close by so we stopped in. I didn’t like it was only a few selections to choose from saying though we wanted to give our honest review. They were nice and warm I can say and great presentation. I just wish I could have tried more flavors. The churro was my favorite by far and the cookies an cream cheesecake not so much. “A lowkey spot but great food and very clean. We so happened to stumble upon it and we were genuinely pleased from the 1st bite. We over heard someone picking up take out say that it was the best sushi he’s had and it was true. The price was great too. One plate of fried rice was enough to satisfy 2 people and then had about 18 pieces of sushi in total. Once finished, it didn’t make you feel sluggish and gross after eating. Great to see an owner who truly cares about their craft and customers. We’ll be back!“

“Just went in this week for the first time, ordered two of the "smaller" sandwiches...They weren't really small, two big chicken fingers on the roll, it was very filling. I got the hot and loved it, had a real bite to it but great flavor. Wife got medium hot liked the flavor but she doesn't like hot as much as I do so mild next time. went back tonight, I got the sandwich again, next time I'm gonna be brave and get the real hot, she got wings (mild) and was very happy with them, said weren't hot but had great flavor. Also got the funnel cake sticks, nice dessert. Definitely will be a regular customer.“

“Their pizza is delicious, always get a white pie with spinach and mushrooms. Unfortunately their sandwiches are not as consistent. Just ordered three Panini sandwiches. Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫“

“Located inside of a historic Reading Railroad freight station, this bar has great root beer and fantastic burgers. I just wish they had karaoke nights or possibly a TouchTunes jukebox. But, on a different note, I love all of their railroad-themed decorations and Christmas decorations that they have all throughout the establishment. Shane Cadence and Ashlyn are wonderful.“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. “I’m a cortado snob and they always deliver perfection. Plus their croissants are the best of any coffee shop I’ve been to in this area, which I think is all of them. It’s strange to have to even make note of this, but especially when I’m in a coffee shop, I really prefer being able to talk to a real live person to place my order and not have to navigate a touchscreen. Chatting with the baristas is part of the enjoyment and reason for leaving your home. So another five stars for human interaction. 😅“

“My second time at the establishment and it was just as excellent as my first. For me, hands down the best Manhattan in Philadelphia. And it was as good as my first.

I only ate French fries at my first visit having brunched earlier in Manayunk and they also were just as delicious. The Taphouse bacon burger was divine. Just the best mix of crispy edges, gooey cheese, fresh & delicious tomatoes (rare for January in the NE! ) and possibly a common , happy problem to have, SO much food. I enjoyed every bite & sip & our server for a fair sized group of more than 15 was friendly, efficient and very well organized.“

“A very nice and popular local brewery off Main Street and near the train station. I believe it was the first one in Lansdale. They have a great selection of home crafted brewed seasonal beers for sale on the first floor. All that I’ve tried tried were absolutely great. Downstairs is a bar, restaurant, tables, a stage and restrooms. The food is generous and delicious. The bar is old fashioned comfort where people get together and have fun. They offer entertainment and different events. Check their website for their latest schedule. . A very relaxing place to have a good time with friends.“
