“I ran into Pattis today to get a dozen cookies. I’ve always wanted to try her soup and today she had Cabbage Beef. I just sat down to eat it for dinner and couldn’t believe how amazing it smelled. It was truly homemade and had amazing flavor. If you don’t feel like cooking check out her monthly soup calendar. I look forward to trying more of her soups.”

“I stopped by Brave Bean on North Shore recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it was way too strong for my taste. There was so much chai and not enough milk that it threw off the balance—it came out way too spicy and intense to enjoy. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what I expected. It had more of a cafeteria vibe and felt kind of empty—maybe I just came at a quiet time, but I was the only person there. That said, the barista was very kind and friendly, which definitely helped brighten the visit. Also, they have a wide selection of drinks, almost like a smaller, local version of Starbucks—which could be a plus if you’re into variety.”

My fiance had the bagel breakfast sandwich and he said it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches he ever had. Plus I absolutely loved the little waffle hash browns! Everything was absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The limoncello gobs were light and refreshing, and the mini cannoli’s were the perfect bite-sized treat. What really stood out was the service. When I was deciding on desserts, they kindly offered me a sampler, which was such a thoughtful touch and helped make the decision easy. You can tell they care about both their product and their customers. I highly recommend Country Custard Cottage for any special occasion. They had the patio closed cuz no ac. and the inside ac barely working. it was the same a few weeks ago. so bottom line is still great food but waitress losing tips cuz no ac.”

“It was a very nice experience from the time we walked in. It wasn't busy so we got seated and waited on promptly. The waitress was awesome! She was friendly and helpful answering our questions about certain menu items and refilling our drinks in a timely manner. The food was phenomenal!! I just got a hamburger which was delicious but my husband got a full rack of ribs! Those ribs were the best I think I have ever tasted! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Our server's name was Shelly!”
