The food is delish . Honesdale finally has flavor!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Every time I walk into this place, I’m met with smiling faces and delicious smells! Today I was late getting out of work. I walked in just a few minutes to close, and I just said “I know you’re probably all cleaned up. I’ll take anything you have left out!”
The ladies are always so incredibly kind. I left with the most delicious empanadas I’ve ever had, a fabulous cucumber and tomato salad, and of course a piece of tres leches!

If you haven't tried the pernil entree, you're missing out on some really tasty pork. The food is authentic Puerto Rican...Delicious and lots of it.

At A Taste Of Puerto Rico the food is amazing and authentic. Staff are welcoming and the restaurant feels like home. Desserts are made in house, especially strawberry tres leches. A Cuban sandwich is a must‑try, and the Roasted Pork is amazing. The owner and her daughter are nice and pleasant to talk to. The restaurant is clean, immaculate, and guests are greeted immediately. Even early for lunch, everything is hot and fresh. Special orders are made to order, so allow a few minutes for perfection. The menu offers a variety of dishes: pernil, arroz con gandules, pasteles, and maduros. Portions are large, leaving guests full. Coffee is excellent. The place is family run and highly recommended. It is worth the price, and many return often.
