“I dined in — everything was beautifully presented, really clean and professional. I had lamb shashlik and lyulya kebab — both were amazing: juicy, flavorful, and the portions were big. I finished the first one easily, but could barely get through the second — that’s how filling it was. The meat was tender, perfectly grilled, and not greasy. Great service and nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back!“

“Everything we ordered was so fresh, portions so large we had to take a lot home. They even went to effort to find us tabbouleh when they thought it was sold out and was it delicious. Our party included one vegan, one vegetarian and one mainly veg. Special mention to the pita, a cloud of wonderfulness, and the ginger juice, a spicy, sweet, delicious treat. We'll be back soon!“

“I grew up on homemade Middle Eastern food made daily by my parents, so I’m very picky when it comes to authenticity. I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. “We had lunch at Barakat Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! I loved the Chicken Shawarma. My husband got the samsa and plov, and he really enjoyed them too. I definitely recommend checking it out! Plus, the service was super fast. The ambience is nice, a recently updated place. Perfect for lunch or dinner, but not necessarily a special occasion.“

“Let me start by saying I love the food at The Halal Guys so much that I ate there pretty much 4/4 nights a week for a year straight after work before trimming it back. I've never done that with any other restaurant. The gentleman I spoke to leaving the restaurant the other night said he drove 40 minutes to come enjoy the food. All of the food is very fresh. They are always cooking fresh chicken and beef. All the veggies are a great addition to the platter along with the fresh rice that is always being replenished. The hummus is very good and when you add the chili based hot sauce and mix it up, it's heaven. For those who can't handle the heat, there's their very popular "white sauce". King of Prussia is always very busy. Please do not let "Bobby Bobby" deter you from going to The Halal guys. He clearly doesn't understand the restaurant business......no crime. Look at his bowl. It has chicken and rice ONLY. Evidently he thinks since he is afraid of eating veggies that the rest of his bowl should be filled with extra meat. Sorry Bobby Bobby; that is not how any restaurant works. This place gives a ton of food. I rarely finish my small bowl and have never ordered a large one. In this business you could have the best product and location but take away top notch customer service and a highly dedicated GM/owner and get ready for your "Grand Closing". Caesar has been the GM at KOP for years now and I've never seen him have a bad day. He always has a smile on his face and treats all of his customers with the utmost respect. His customer service is exceptional. This is extremely rare. How do I know this? 35 years in the restaurant industry. Hail Caesar!!“
