“Rather unusual that a place known for very good smoked meat entries would have such a good fish dinner. We've had the broiled haddock on several occasions and find it always enjoyable. Nice seasoning - not too salty- moist but not drenched in oil, as is often the case. Very good baked potato and coleslaw. An excellent value Be aware prices shown on this review site are out of date. “Stopped here for lunch today, highly recommend! Hole-in-the-wall locals vibe with great classic rock playing and 80’s 90’s slacker movie memorabilia on the walls. And race car parts! Staff was super friendly and snarky, which is a positive in my book. Had a Coney Island all the way with spicy chili, and a plain beef dog (for all the stuff that inevitably falls off the Coney dog). Delicious!”

“What fun! Ten of us celebrated Mother's Day at Penn's Tavern, and it was delightful. Brandy, our waitress, was fantastic. We were all impressed with how quickly our food arrived, and even better, everyone loved their meals. To top it off, the weather was perfect, making the view of the scenic (and yes, muddy!) Susquehanna River even more enjoyable.”

“The food here is absolutely delicious! I haven’t ate a pizza and subs this good in our area. Friendly staff and it’s the best small town pizza. Drinks in bottle on site and chips if you desire. Cheesesteak sub or Stromboli are so good. Our favorite pizza is chicken bbq! But even regular cheese or pepperoni are delicious! Definitely worth ordering and pick up.”

“Best hoagies I know of, anywhere. Unbeatable bread. Best alfredo sauce you'll come across. Chicken alfredo pizza is fantastic, or fettucine alfredo (with shrimp, chicken, broccoli mix and match). Very very nice people, always great service if eating in and a nice dining experience. The owner / head chef is always working hard but makes time to say hello to pretty much everyone he has an opportunity to engage with. Noticeably friendly guy. Great place all around, seriously awesome food at Amatos Norry.”

“It’s Rita’s. They are pretty standard at all locations. Gelato and custards are my favorite.Good service and friendly staff here. You really can’t go wrong!”

“Everytime we pick up our orders we are met with the most welcoming guy. Always says hi when you walk in, comes out to hold the door if your hands are full, or brings it to your car if you have kids sleeping in the car. The food is always great too.”
