“My husband and I stopped here today for the first time in our five years living in the neighborhood. He had the steak Stromboli and I had a mushroom cheesesteak. I have to say it was the tastiest food I have had in a long time. The staff was very warm and pleasant. We are certainly going to be regulars now.“

“the girl on the phone answered me very rudely, it took me a couple of seconds to hear her voice because the noise around me prevented me from placing an order, I didn’t hear her and she was angry and hung up. I called back to complete the order, but in response they picked up the phone and disconnected the connection. I changed the star to 4 just for the sake of their pizza, it's really tasty. and the owner himself politely asked to correct this situation by responding to my review. “My family and I’ve been here a handful of times. We’ve enjoyed birthdays and time with friends. The food is delicious and tastes like home made Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, while the service is timely and our servers were always attentive, whether we were outside or indoors. I highly recommend this spot to friends and will be back for another date night/special occasion!“

“Besides the food being absolutely amazing, like outstanding, they have wonderful employees who you can tell work extremely hard and build rapport with their customers. The crust was square deep dish chicago style, very good sauce. tons of cheese didn’t really taste the kale nevertheless, spot on! little on the expensive side.
Thai cauliflower wings , perfectly done, tender on the inside crispy tempura batter on the outside very good sauce
Spicy crab fries need work no crab flavor, kale was there but lacking flavor, plenty of cheese on fries, cheese was cold and the fries were little bit dry and cold.
The Fries are overpriced, thicker cut fries would be better.
The blueberry lemonade and a cucumber, mint lemonade a perfect combo with the pizza
This is a very nice place for takeout. The decor is right on with the whole mission. I read a chapter of the book while I was there Muhammad is inspiring.
I think it’s admirable the way they give back to the community. Hope that they will get some sit down seating in the future currently it has barstool and counter seating, would love to see some outdoor seating. Overall a nice experience, reason for four star atmosphere was a little bit loud hard to talk to my friend.
And as far as the food goes a little bit pricey overall, that’s just a personal opinion if it works for them that’s all that matters definitely will be back.“

“I’ve been coming here since 1964 and it’s still just as good! Hands down- best pizza in Philadelphia! The brothers/brothers in law have retired, but one of the sons is carrying the legacy forward. All they sell is pizza and soda, and only beef and beef pepperoni toppings. It’s no frills, but worth the ride I make every so often from Chestnut Hill. I only wished they took credit cards and stayed open later, but I understand. If you’re a pizza snob like me, do yourself a favor and try King of Pizza?“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. “Their pizza is delicious, always get a white pie with spinach and mushrooms. Unfortunately their sandwiches are not as consistent. Just ordered three Panini sandwiches. Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫“

The pizza was solid: plenty of cheese, good sauce, and a nice balance overall. Staff was friendly. I’ll consider trying one of their sandwiches next time I stop by, they look good. The pizza is perfectly balanced, the wings are 10/10, the mini pizzas are delicious and thick, the meatballs- you HAVE TO try the meatballs. The subs are also stuffed to the brim on fresh bread. The delivery is also always fast and the guys that deliver are super nice. The owner is a great guy. He patiently answers your questions, fixes any problems ASAP, and has the old school Italian charm that makes you warm and fuzzy. I am so thankful for the crew at DiVincenzo's. Recently, there is an additional waitress who clears the table while you’re still eating which is disruptive. She kept coming over to our table even though our regular waitress was already taking care of us.“

The portion size was generous, but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The cocktails are varied and absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The servers have been friendly and attentive.
