The receptionist told me they would deliver it to my house so I didn’t have to wait. Literally less than 10 minutes later the receptionist who took my order was the one who hand delivered my order to me at my house! “They've been serving up the same great, unique pizza for many decades. I'm in my 50s and my parents would take us there on many weekends. The crust is a bit different from a typical pizza, and the cheese is, I believe, mostly high quality deli American and it melts into the sauce in just an amazing way. Don't go expecting a NY pie or an Old Forge style, but do go with an open mind. SO DELICIOUS!! Andy's has been around for a very long time for a reason!“

“Love the Pagash!!! You gotta try it. I can’t believe I missed this one BIG thing yesterday! This is one thing that is completely different from EVERY other place that I’ve had so far (ever). Now that I realize it today, it’s kind of magical and I’m not going to “give away” what it is but I am pretty sure it is the cause of what my mouth is telling my brain today. The taste balance is pretty spot on! Between the crust, cheese, filling, onion - nothing overpowers the other. I love these onions. That’s all there is to that. But this crust… I noticed it yesterday but I was dismissive and today I was able to zoom in a bit and realize what I missed. The crust has a great taste but the light / flaky / crunchiness has an almost fried feeling to it, without the pan-fried oil. Basically, you’re getting a pan-fried like crust, that isn’t fried and not oily. I haven’t seen this before and it was slightly mind boggling so I had to reach out to Al and ask if it was fried or not - and he confirmed that it is not. It’s baked. Then I found a secret difference that I think helps lead to this magical crust…. To me, this makes pizza plus like no other I’ve had so far. It’s good. Go see if you can find what I’m talking about ...“

“We order from here at least a couple times a month. My husband is seriously hooked on the piggies (aka stuffed cabbage). I've tried a lot of things on the menu and the only thing that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed is the drop noodles. I'd never had them before and they just weren't for me. I think they'd probably go over well for someone who grew up on them. Anyway. The pizza is excellent. The pierogies are fresh and fantastic, with so many filling options! I'm partial to the chili dog pierogies but those are only available sometimes. Check out Facebook for their specials. They have specials every week, including items not typically on the menu and special pierogi options. There are tables for dine-in but this place thrives on carry-out. 3% charge for paying with a card.“

“Izzy provides a fun experience by allowing customers to make their own 10-inch pizza. Customers are given the option of thin ot thick crust and then the rest is up to them. Once prepared, staff then puts the pizza in the oven. I like my pizza on the plain side, so I opted for extra sauce, a normal amount of cheese, and a few pieces of pepperoni. Everything turned out great.The environment is fun, as walls are covered in various pizza-related photos and artwork. There's also a large chalkboard along the walls where customers may make their own art.Staff at Izzy’s was friendly and cheerful, and the restaurant was clean. It also offers a soda bar, where guests can create their own flavors. The menu includes many other options than "make your own pizza," so customers have a variety from which to choose.I'd go back!“

“This Wegmans location gets 5 stars from me. The store is clean, the selection is huge, the place is always packed and the employees are always great spirited, helpful and accommodating. The Cafe is quite clean, and the Cafe staff are always on their toes keeping it that way. Finally, the prices at the Cafe and quality of the fresh made food are par excellence. As good, if not better than some restaurants. I will be certain to include some pictures of the pizza?for you to get an idea. Be sure to stop by for some good eats!“

“We had eaten here during our last visit to Scranton so I tried to remember the name of the restaurant. I discovered that Italian name pizza place doesn't quite narrow it down in a city blessed by many pizzerias. We accidentally found Vincenzos again and what a treat. We had the meat lover large pizza sans ham with extra cheese. Very good food. Service was very good considering it was older regulars and I'll behaved children night and they were very busy. Everytime we return to Scranton we will make it a point to return as this place provides high quality delicious food and value for money. Bravo Vincenzos! Eat here if you like quality pizza and you will not be disappointed.“

“The Peanut Bar is one of my favorite places to visit in Carbondale. It's the "go to place" if you're looking for something to do or a good crowd to hang out with. The staff and bartenders are very kind and personable. Also, the Sweet and Spicy burger is one of my menu favorites. It has candied jalapeños, bacon, cheddar cheese, frizzled onions, and hot honey sauce on it. Get it with the hand cut fries and it is perfection! I highly recommend stopping in here and trying the food or any of their specialty drinks. I might have to go tonight because now I am thinking about the burger after writing this review. Haha. If this isn't for you, then take a short walk to the Cashew Lounge right behind it.“

“My father, being a born and raised New Yorker, raised me to know good pizza from a young age. If he were still with us today, I'm sure he'd agree with me when I say this is the best NY pizza place you will find in the Scranton-Wilkes area. And their prices are very reasonable, just $15 for an 18 inch pie. Whenever my family gets a hankering for pizza, or if we just don't feel like cooking but also don't want to spend over $30 on takeout, this is where we go, every time. Oscar is a very down-to-earth man and although I'm not religious myself, I can't help but be enchanted by he and his family's devotion to their faith; last time I was there having dinner with my family, he was setting up a church next door. He and his family deserve all of the success they've earned thus far, and I hope they're here to stick around for a long time to come! As long as they're here, they have my family's support.“

“Was able to drop in yesterday and check out G&M’s warehouse near Idle Hours South in Scranton. I have been meaning to come here for nearly a year now and finally had a day where I could line it up.I love cooper sharp cheese for cheesesteaks so I began trying it on other things and realized I love it on breakfast sandwiches and burgers too. When someone told me the burgers here were great and I saw one on their menu with Cooper Sharp, it was on like donkey Kong … or just a fat hungry guy ??‍♂️The Cooperstown Burger was a bacon cheeseburger with caramelized onions using cooper Sharp. It was served on a brioche roll and I added the pickles from the side to the burger. I opted to add fries and cole slaw to the plate (I believe that was a $4 upcharge). “Stopped here for lunch on recommendation of Paul, the florist next door. We were bicycling the nearby rail trail and wanted to stop at Forest City.We ordered an Italian sub and a meatball parmesan sub. Ingredients are high quality Boars Head cold cuts and homemade meatballs and sub rolls. Two of us split to try them both.Service was friendly with both our preparer and the owner Janine conversing with us. Excellent quality at reasonable prices. Also try their other restaurant nearby, K & J' Kitchen. A great find.“

“My sister and I discovered this gem when we started going to our chiropractor. Now everytime we travel to an appointment we make it a point to stop here. The one time the fries weren't cooked but other than that it's always amazing.“

“I wanted to have a 60th birthday party for my husband in his hometown of Dunmore. A friend suggested Fireside Martini Grill and I'm so thankful he did! The owner was so easy to deal with even from afar and was always very prompt in getting back to me with answers to my questions and concerns. Living out of state, I had never been to the restaurant but when we went to check it out on the day of the party I was very pleased and knew it was the perfect venue for the event! It was a large party so we had the entire place to ourselves. The restaurant was a nice, casual atmosphere with a long bar. The enclosed deck had multiple tables with fire pits in the center. We opted for the appetizers and the buffet dinner. The appetizers were amazing! The servers passed them around multiple times and everyone had more than enough. Dinner was equally good and plenty of food! If that wasn't enough, the bartender and servers were the best! From start to finish, the service Jim and his staff provided was excellent and made for a very successful and stress free party! I would highly recommend this business whether its for a private dinner or a big party!“

“My new Pizza Friday "go to". I first had this at the Italian Festival and I really enjoyed it. It is classic NY style pizza. Great tasting crust, sweet tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Whenever I order it is ready in 15 minutes - which beats the 1.5 hour wait for a pizza in the Abingtons on a Friday night. Yes - the location is "unique" (they share a storefront with Subway ) but the quality is incredible. Careful - the online menu is out of date and they no longer offer many of the menu items. But many items are still supported and the handwritten board on the wall is "the menu". I ordered the tomato bacon - which is no longer on the menu - so at first they said they could not make it - but after some conversation they said "we'll make it happen". It was incredible - fresh tomatoes instead of sauce with crispy bacon bits generously tossed on the cheese. One slice will do it - it's thick and chock full of tomato's. $20 for the large - you can't beat that. I always get a parking spot right in front of the Federal building so pickup has yet to be an issue. Step outside your comfort zone and give this establishment a hard look. You won't be disappointed. I really like the staff as well - so accommodating.“

Also, Mainline catered my wedding and their pizza and hoagies were eaten up and met with happy faces and bloated full bellies. “Sandwiches so good we went two days in a row! The clerks at the counter were very helpful in making suggestions for us on our first visit. My daughter and I followed the recommendation and shared the steak & cheese hoagie and were not disappointed! My son-in-law had a tasty chicken parmesan hoagie. Went back the next day to try the sausage & peppers and roast beef hoagies, while my son-in-law did a repeat of the chicken parm. All were excellent and were a great value! I got home and realized part of my order was missing but when I got there it happens that there was a mistake and I was only charged for one order of wings instead of the two I wanted. “This is the second time my friend and I who is vegan, has been to this restaurant. This is got to be one of the hidden gems of Scranton. The restaurant food is made. Do have to wait-a-bit, but when I tell you it's worth every second you wait, I'm not lying. The food is exquisite top quality food. None of this fast food stuff that's already made up in the back. Everything is made to order and to your specification. The chef there is absolutely wonderful. He comes out and talks to you and explains what you're eating in what you've ordered. The garlic bread is to die for. In the salad, oh my word, it's not iceberg lettuce and cheap lettuce. It's all the high-end greens and micro greens. So wonderful with any kind of dressing you want on the side. I had Chicken franchase. I'm going to see if I can figure out how to put a picture on but don't judge the picture.
