“Our child has egg allergies, so I contacted Donna to order vegan cupcakes. It was his first ever cake - chocolate with white icing, fresh raspberries & whipped cream... He absolutely loves them!“

“Love Sarah and her dad and the space she has created at Old & Brew. She serves excellent coffee and has a nice assortment of goodies in her case as well. One of our favorite places to visit every week! Oh! And not to forget the vintage treasures… I once found a box of Mapplethorpe Floral cards and had to have them.“
“Great store and cafe! Enjoyed a veg pocket and ice coffee. Purchased locally made bracelets. Stop in you won’t regret it!“

“I wanted to try this spot for more than a minute. My boyfriend finally took me and I enjoyed it very much. The chicken pastina soup was simple and tasty and the little mini cupcakes were the perfect bite. The lemon scone was a little too biscuit tasting for me . Still yummy just not sconey. My boyfriend liked his soup and sandwich as well and we enjoyed our Java's. The only reason I left a star off is because you do have unpredictable waiting times. I received my coffee quickly but then they had to brew more so mine was almost gone when he got his. UnderstandableI'll go again for sure. Some reviews evolve :) thank you cuppa cake ...I look forward to trying more cupcake flavors!“
“To preface, I'm the pickiest of eaters...We literally just devoured our meals (mine-meatloaf w mashed potatoes and scalloped potatoes. Hubby's- chicken cutlets w vodka penne pasta and a salad) and it was so freaking delicious. I ate everything, except the mashed bc was full, and am looking forward to the next meals that Trixie puts up online. I highly recommend checking out out bc I promise you won't be disappointed.“
“Our long time friends and coworkers met there for the first time and it was FABULOUS! Carol was a doll and so interesting to talk with. Her homemade soup, finger sandwiches and desserts (try her homemade scones and homemade whipped crème) were delicious. We certainly didn’t go away hungry. Her vintage style was heartwarming. She kept filling our cups with hot water in the many teapots that she has collected, along with the many types of tea. Oh I forgot to mention she even stenciled the dining room floor!! We will certainly be back.“

“Great atmosphere with excellent baristas and fantastic coffee!“
“We were in Scranton for a softball tournament and a friend from back home recommended Joyce’s. We were so glad we tried it because the food was great and the owner were so very kind. They treated us like family even got pictures with us which I posted. We are planning a trip back just to see them!“
“I like that it's in walking distance from my apartment at Mulberry Towers. I can go there get milk and pick up something to with my food stamps. I just moved to downtown Scranton and there aren't that many places I can go to within walking distance.I do think it's dark inside and makes it hard to see things. I don't like that you have to buy something and get the keys before you can use restroom. There aren't many places to go downtown and sometimes you really need to go.“

“I had the best iced latte ever there today while visiting Scranton! My husband and I were there to run the Office 5k and so glad we stopped there to caffeinate beforehand! The game boards on the wall were amazing as well!“
