“My husband and I had a few minutes to spare between appointments today and he suggested we try the coffee. We were so impressed!! We both told the Barista what type of coffee we were interested in, and then went with his flavor suggestions. He was spot on for both of us!! Easily the best coffee either of us has ever had!! My husband drank his black because he really wanted to taste the beans. It was smooth, strong, and delightful. The Barista was also so friendly and kind, we felt like regulars even though it was our first time. We will be back very soon!“

The cafe is comfortable and sets the stage for a good tea selection, soup, generous sandwiches, a large blueberry scone, fresh fruit and sweet treats. Our server was attentive and very friendly. “The Shop has been the best all around restaurant in downtown Binghamton for a few years now. Everything about it is spot on: The atmosphere is hipper than anything else in Bing. The service is always fantastic. They have a small but very well curated selection of beer (and the other drinks seem great too). The menu is interesting, and the food is always impeccably executed. In recent years, it's become my department's go-to place for hosting faculty candidates and other visitors to the university, because it really shows off Binghamton at its best. I just wish they were open a few more days a week!“
