“This was my first time eating at this place. Great people, great food to go with it as well! My favorites were the General Tso’s and Crab Rangoons, which I highly recommend. Food is extremely fresh and seasoned amazingly, comes piping hot. Would definitely come here again!“

“This is the best Chinese food I’ve had since I moved outta Philly in 2015. I’m kinda ticked it took me this long to try this place. The chicken in the chicken and broccoli isn’t rubbery. The sauce is delicious. The fried rice is delicious. My daughter ordered the Ma Po To Fu and it was great. We will be returning, for sure. I also like the fact you can order online and they offer discounts. The price didn’t hurt the pocket either. A must try.“

“I've lived several places and you always need that local hole in the wall Chinese take out place. After trying a few after moving to Jim Thorpe, China Ming is not only the best in the area but one of the best I've ever had. The menu is standard but the food quality is just exceptional. I don't know what they do differently, slightly different recipes or fresher ingredients but it's far and above other places. It's become a regular go to on nights no one feels like cooking.
Vegetarian options: The tofu that comes with the General Tso's tofu is something very special!! It's amazing.“

“While on a road trip, we stopped in Palmerton, PA, looking for a quick lunch and stumbled upon Hunan House — and I’m so glad we did. This local, family-owned American Chinese restaurant exceeded expectations in every way.
From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, and they were happy to accommodate dietary needs without any hesitation, which I really appreciated.
The food? Honestly, some of the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions — and the prices were very reasonable too.
Whether you're just passing through like we were or live nearby, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. It’s a great example of a local spot doing things right.“

“I ordered the General Tso's Tofu crispy. I've ordered it this way everywhere, and they always get it wrong. This place got it right. Perfectly done 🤗 Some people mentioned light sauce - it's better this way. Heavy sauce is gross. This is a clean place in a convenient location with nice people. 👍🏻“

“The hot and sour soup we ordered yesterday was excellent! It had numerous interesting bits of vegetables, tofu, chicken, and was flavored and spiced just right. The one thing that would bring it closer to my personal preference is if it had a little less thickener. I'm looking forward to our next order.“

“We were in Jim Thorpe, a magical town, with many bars and restaurants. We walked in to enjoy some fabulous authentic chinese food. Fantastic. Joy, was very friendly and sweet. The food was excellent. We are from New York amd often eat in china town in both New York and Philadelphia. The fireplace was such a warm inviting touch as we ate. We did order food to take back to the air B&B with us. You do not need any soy sauce or duck or anything. The taste of the food was excellent. We ordered a lot for 2 people, however, it was so nice to enjoy our wine that we brought in and just relax. We were not rushed at all. It was a wonderful end to our weekend.
