“Picked up wings, fries, and burgers to eat at home
The garlic parmesan wings were delicious! The mild wings were fantastic also, still hot n crispy when we arrived home to enjoy our meal
The burgers were a little over done, but hunger chose to overlook that. All in all, great!“

“I just want to say to our very kind server today, THANK YOU. I was experiencing a sugar drop and she recognized it and brought my salad out immediately. As a recently diagnosed diabetic I often fail at seeing my cues and knowing when it's GO time but she did!! I thank you 1000 times over for saving me from yet another faint spell and injury. I wish I could remember your name but the brain fog was so heavy. If you remember me please lmk so I can come and give you an extra tip. you are so appreciated!! Your promptness and courteous service made such a difference today.“

“My wife and I were on a drive from Brooklyn to Erie, PA, and my wife found this restaurant (also called “The Greek Shack”) while doing a Google Maps search. It was a great find: wonderful views from the lakeside deck, and delicious Greek food. The portions were substantial. I had the Greek rice bowl and my wife had a terrific Greek salad. They also brought out warm pita and tzatziki as a bread plate. The only minor downside is that the restaurant is at the far end of a private development, and you need to stop at a security gate for a restaurant pass. But if you’re in the area, the food is worth it.“

“My friends and I found The Wabash by accident,, we were chasing the Reading & Northern 2102 last Saturday Oct 25th 2025.. We were looking for a place for lunch and a few beers.. The food was good and prices were right,, and I got the last bowl of French Onion soup.. The woman behind bar was very nice to talk to,, putting up with us,, the Train guys... Next time we are in Tamaqua,, we will stop at The Wabash,,... Pat from Massachusetts...“

“We held my daughter’s graduation dinner celebration here and it could not have been more perfect. From start to finish, Jessie (event coordinator) was professional, responsive, and accommodating. The food, the set up, and the staff’s attentiveness were stellar. Five stars!“

“Working out of town and stopped here for dinner. Ended up going back almost every night we were up there because the food was so good. Tried a bunch of different entrees and wasn't disappointed with anything. Staff was awesome as well and the wait was short. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.“
