“My friends and I found The Wabash by accident,, we were chasing the Reading & Northern 2102 last Saturday Oct 25th 2025.. We were looking for a place for lunch and a few beers.. The food was good and prices were right,, and I got the last bowl of French Onion soup.. The woman behind bar was very nice to talk to,, putting up with us,, the Train guys... Next time we are in Tamaqua,, we will stop at The Wabash,,... Pat from Massachusetts...“

“I just want to say to our very kind server today, THANK YOU. I was experiencing a sugar drop and she recognized it and brought my salad out immediately. As a recently diagnosed diabetic I often fail at seeing my cues and knowing when it's GO time but she did!! I thank you 1000 times over for saving me from yet another faint spell and injury. I wish I could remember your name but the brain fog was so heavy. If you remember me please lmk so I can come and give you an extra tip. you are so appreciated!! Your promptness and courteous service made such a difference today.“

“The food was superb.
The clan chowder had a lot of clams in it. I do wish it had arrived before the meal - you have to decide which you would rather eat hot.
I was told by one member of our party that the Ruben sandwich was one of the best they had eaten for quite a while.
The server was attentive and personable, taking time to chat with us a bit.“
