My husband & I had our wedding reception here on April 27, 2025. We were the 3rd couple ever (the first was Joe Biden’s niece on December 31, 2024)! Beer Gardens at Longwood Gardens offers a decent selection of drinks, including beer, cider, seltzers, and wine. The pizza for lunch was surprisingly tasty despite its burnt appearance, with the mushroom pizza being good and filling. Kids enjoyed the basic options of cheese pizza, burger, and hotdog, and the oldest even finished off a slice of pizza. While the prices are a bit high, the abundant shaded seating and beautiful garden views make it a special place to visit in Pennsylvania.
The venue also hosts live music, which adds to its fun atmosphere. The sound quality is excellent, making it enjoyable to sit and listen to the music. Visitors have noted that the wait times are shorter here than at the café, and even when busy, finding a seat with an umbrella is possible. Although the food is not extraordinary, it is tasty and offers a good snack option, despite being overpriced. The selection of beers and ciders is nice, and the overall experience, especially on days with live music, makes for an enjoyable visit.
