After the 1906 restaurant at Longwood Gardens lost our reservation we went searching for dinner in Kennett Square. We feel as though we were exceeding lucky to find El Ranchero. The service was timely, the food good and the atmosphere was pleasant. All together a great end to a very wonderful day of adventure." BYOB" if you enjoy a drink with dinner.
In days passed, I would have rated this establishment much higher. Times are apparently tough here, such as no staff, extraordinary wait for the food especially for the lack of patrons. The means of hand drying in the men's restroom were 2 rolls of Scotts single ply toilet paper. Knowing the outcome, I still gave it a try. Ha ha. We love El Ranchero. We used to go her all the tines years ago, but just rediscovered it while in Kennett. They have really cool artwork and aesthetic inside. The food is delicious and well priced. We've only ever had the same waitress every tine we've gone and she works her tail off servicing the entire restaurant by herself every time we're there.
