“We recently used Butterscotch Pastry Shop for my daughter's Bridal Shower - what a FABULOUS experience! The grounds and the building are absolutely lovely, and the party room was beautifully set up for our event. No detail was left undone. The food was incredible, both the main courses and the desserts, and so elegantly displayed. Nui and her staff were extremely gracious and an absolute pleasure to work with. What an absolute gem of a place, I can't recommend it highly enough!“

“It has taken me over 12 years to finally walk in this space, thanks to some friends. Parking lot is deceivingly larger than anticipated. Scored a spot right in front. The space inside is on the smaller side, so anticipate a wait if you don't show up before 9am. Service very friendly and they are quick to serve you. Their coffee was solid. They have a nice tea selection, so be sure to ask what they have or they will serve you up something more pedestrian. A few specials always posted on the board. I had their homemade hash omelet and it was cooked perfectly. Not too brown and cooked throughout. Their toast is LeBus (sp?), so it was 2 pieces of very thick rye bread. I absolutely loved it. Their breakfast potatoes are very small nuggets with no onions. A bit boring if I'm being honest, but mixed well with the eggs and ketchup for me. I will look forward to trying more menu items in the near future. Hidden gem.“

“I stumbled upon this coffee shop after a yoga class at Nectar Yoga Studio (which is in the same building). The barista and other workers were lovely. I don't regularly drink coffee so I ordered a strawberry chamomile kombucha and a GF chocolate/almond cookie. The kombucha is made locally (Baba's brew) and is one of my favorites. I loved that my drink was served in a glass rather than plastic! The cookie was delicious and one of the workers immediately cleared away my plate when I was finished. I'll definitely be back again! There's plenty of space to work or hang out with friends. If you need WiFi, the info is at the register.“

Didn’t take long for my order to be ready, but in the meantime they had some artsy candles and stuff that I perused and impulse bought a candle that said “well mom you screwed a lot stuff up but at least you didn’t have ugly children” for Mother’s Day. “I ordered 50 cake pops for my daughters baby shower on short notice. I do apologize I forget who took my order but she was very friendly and personable and more than happy to help me. I was very happy with my order, I ordered vanilla, chocolate and funfetti cakes pops. They were decorated with the exact colors I asked for, each one wrapped individually and tied with ribbon. “My coffee spot deserves 5 stars because it's a mission centered business. It's associated with Camphill Village, and is therefore inclusive in its hiring of staff, has a vegetarian menu, and sources locally. The baristas are friendly and make an effort to get to know you if you are a regular. Yes, it may take a while for a latte if it's busy and they have to follow food safety standards when heating up breakfast sandwiches (which takes time and they let you know when you order). I am ok with that because the money you spend here is staying locally and supporting a non-profit.“

Well, the cream tasted off n the bread oil oozing with one bite .. that too we had to trash. “I just realized that when you place a mobile order on your app, after you “check out”, the app will tell you approximately when your order will be ready. If you show up earlier, your order may not be ready, and you will have to wait. If there is a car behind you, you may be asked to pull around again as well. This is a great feature of the app and made with the customers best interest at heart. Please give the Baristas the allotted time to make your drink so you can be sure you will get the correct drink and you can plan for that allotted time. I love this about the app! As a customer I also now know that I cannot pull in the parking lot, place my order in the app, and go right thru the drive thru and expect it to be ready like I used to do, because it will not. As a Barista, I now understand how important the customers adhering to this allotted time is! Baristas want to make sure you are 100% happy with your hand crafted drink and they hope to see you again the next day!“
