I showed up to my first ever open mic. Without any back up or support. Straight after work still in a suit and I was so nervous! But sat next to people I just met, we'll I was early sonce I came straight from work still wearing a suit, and they were pleasant hospital regulars. I’m originally from Peru and my husband has been there a few times, so we definitely compare every spot to the real thing. Uma Cafe & Peruvian Restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. The food was SO good, flavorful, authentic, comforting, and the kind of meal that instantly takes you back home. This is one of the very few places we’ve tried where we left genuinely satisfied and already talking about coming back. On top of that, the owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. You can really feel the love and care put into the food and the atmosphere. Such a hidden gem. Worth the one and half hour drive from Cape May!

“I have a subscription to their coffee roastery - I recieve a 5lb bag of Espresso Roast beans every 8 weeks to use in my at home espresso machine. Their beans have ruined all other coffee for myself and my wife - we can ONLY drink Backyard Beans coffee. It is the best coffee we have ever tasted. The worst part is - we live in Alabama so we can only ever order it for delivery!“

“10/10 experience! There’s so many cute desserts and drinks to choose from. I got the “matcha delight” which is matcha, coconut milk and lime. It was so good I can’t recommend it enough! I also got the little bunny cake with was like a layer of cake, a layer of strawberry pudding and a layer of mousse. It was so cute, relaxing and cozy inside with plenty of seating. Also plenty of parking in the front and back. Staff were super friendly and I will definitely be back!“

“I randomly stumbled across this place this morning, and I'm glad I found it. They have a pretty standard breakfast menu, with some more exciting specials. A lot of their breakfast menu allowed you to build-your-own-meal. Examples... instead of listing out 10 different omelet variations, you essentially just build your own. Same with their frittatas. You also choose your sides (homefries, fruit, toast, grits) rather than being forced to have toast and homefries with the other options being up charged. Ok, onto to my meal. I went super basic. I got 3 eggs scrambled, scrapple, fruit cup, and toast. The scrapple was thick, crispy on the outside, and had a hot soft center... prefect! The fruit cup was a fresh medley of watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew, strawberries, and pineapple. The eggs, toast, and coffee were all delicious as well. Their prices are very reasonable for what you get. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!“

I tried the Short Ribs Deluxe Pho and the Banh Mi, both were pretty good, and the short rib portion was huge, I even had to take some home.“

“Stopped by Lu & Aug’s in Ardmore, PA, and this place is a sweet little gem! I tried the Wild Mint Chocolate and Toffee Pecan, and both were smooth, creamy, and full of flavor.

The Wild Mint Chocolate had that cool, refreshing mint taste with a rich chocolate kick. It was not boring or basic at all — it tasted fresh, sweet, and perfect for a warm day.

The Toffee Pecan was my favorite for that dessert-style flavor. It had a buttery, nutty taste with little crunchy pieces that made every sip better. Sweet, creamy, and packed with texture.

The presentation was simple but clean, and the drinks looked just as good as they tasted. Lu & Aug’s is definitely a spot worth checking out if you are in Ardmore and want something cold, sweet, and satisfying.

Foodie verdict: Creamy, flavorful, and worth the stop. I would definitely come back for more.

“I came into this Cafe for help with a credit card account. Despite there being no one there who worked with credit card accounts, the employee who assisted me, Emma, was incredibly helpful. She tried very hard to help me resolve my issue, helped me call customer service, tried to talk to them for me, helped me file a complaint, and even made some very helpful suggestions regarding the matter. I feel as though she went above and beyond to help me, even when she didn't have to. I would absolutely come back again.“

The pistachio is the best, even better from the ones I tried in Italy or Argentina. If you are looking for quality, not heavy ice cream and authentic fresh gelato, this is the place to go!

“I love Duck Donuts!! The donuts are always fresh and the staff is lovely and you can watch them handmade everything behind the glass. “Perfect location to work remote on a Sunday. This location is staffed by a fast and friendly team. The expected menu is supported and orders filled quickly. Nearly no waits.

The building is open and bright with two walls of windows. The long bench has tables for two and four plus power outlets at your feet. Both bathrooms were equally spotless. A great mix of music was playing with good speaker quality at an entertaining not disrupting sound level. Nice outdoor seating on the east side, entry side. I would visit this location again.“

“Stopped by Kung Fu Tea and this is the move: grab your drink and take it out into Phoenixville. The drinks are incredibly fresh and thoughtfully made, with flavors that actually stand out. Every part is customizable—from sweetness to ice—and the staff make the whole process easy and fun.
