“My husband and I are always on the hunt for authentic Peruvian food, and it’s honestly hard to find a place that really gets it right. I’m originally from Peru and my husband has been there a few times, so we definitely compare every spot to the real thing. Uma Cafe & Peruvian Restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. The food was SO good, flavorful, authentic, comforting, and the kind of meal that instantly takes you back home. This is one of the very few places we’ve tried where we left genuinely satisfied and already talking about coming back. On top of that, the owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. You can really feel the love and care put into the food and the atmosphere. Such a hidden gem. Worth the one and half hour drive from Cape May!

P.S. On our second visit, we ordered the tacu tacu with Lomo Saltado but didn’t get a picture, still 10/10.“

“I came into this Cafe for help with a credit card account. Despite there being no one there who worked with credit card accounts, the employee who assisted me, Emma, was incredibly helpful. She tried very hard to help me resolve my issue, helped me call customer service, tried to talk to them for me, helped me file a complaint, and even made some very helpful suggestions regarding the matter. I feel as though she went above and beyond to help me, even when she didn't have to. I would absolutely come back again.“

“Donuts are good just a tad bit smaller than expected but still delicious. I had it delivered and all the doughnuts were smashed to one side of the box but that could have been door dashes fault or when they put the box of doughnuts in the bag, either way they were good! “This is currently the only Vietnamese spot in the mall, located upstairs by the food court. It’s a canteen style setup—you order at the counter and help yourself to condiments at the self serve station, so don’t wait for a server. They’ll give you a number and you’ll pick up your food when it’s ready. I tried the Short Ribs Deluxe Pho and the Banh Mi, both were pretty good, and the short rib portion was huge, I even had to take some home.“

“The girls working there were awesome! They make a delicious white mocha latte and as they told us...it was better than Starbucks! 😃 The coffee was hot and good. I absolutely loved my everything bagel with cream cheese and jelly. One of the best things about our stay at the hotel was this restaurant !“

Had to go at their storage at the back to find me a pistachio sauce. I didn’t even asked her to do it. Great service! It really made my day.“

“Love Founding farmers. Food is always good. Mac and cheese was a little bit under cooked and the cinnamon roll as well. Also didn't have a lot of cinnamon, definitely recipe change or they were rushing. But I go for the spicy fry chicken and green beans“
