I’m originally from Peru and my husband has been there a few times, so we definitely compare every spot to the real thing. Uma Cafe & Peruvian Restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. The food was SO good, flavorful, authentic, comforting, and the kind of meal that instantly takes you back home. “I have a subscription to their coffee roastery - I recieve a 5lb bag of Espresso Roast beans every 8 weeks to use in my at home espresso machine. Their beans have ruined all other coffee for myself and my wife - we can ONLY drink Backyard Beans coffee. It is the best coffee we have ever tasted. The worst part is - we live in Alabama so we can only ever order it for delivery!“

“10/10 experience! There’s so many cute desserts and drinks to choose from. I got the “matcha delight” which is matcha, coconut milk and lime. It was so good I can’t recommend it enough! I also got the little bunny cake with was like a layer of cake, a layer of strawberry pudding and a layer of mousse. It was so cute, relaxing and cozy inside with plenty of seating. “I randomly stumbled across this place this morning, and I'm glad I found it. They have a pretty standard breakfast menu, with some more exciting specials. A lot of their breakfast menu allowed you to build-your-own-meal. Examples... instead of listing out 10 different omelet variations, you essentially just build your own. Same with their frittatas. You also choose your sides (homefries, fruit, toast, grits) rather than being forced to have toast and homefries with the other options being up charged. Ok, onto to my meal. I went super basic. I got 3 eggs scrambled, scrapple, fruit cup, and toast. The scrapple was thick, crispy on the outside, and had a hot soft center... prefect! The fruit cup was a fresh medley of watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew, strawberries, and pineapple. The eggs, toast, and coffee were all delicious as well. Their prices are very reasonable for what you get. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!“

“Stopped by Lu & Aug’s in Ardmore, PA, and this place is a sweet little gem! I tried the Wild Mint Chocolate and Toffee Pecan, and both were smooth, creamy, and full of flavor.

The Wild Mint Chocolate had that cool, refreshing mint taste with a rich chocolate kick. It was not boring or basic at all — it tasted fresh, sweet, and perfect for a warm day.

The Toffee Pecan was my favorite for that dessert-style flavor. It had a buttery, nutty taste with little crunchy pieces that made every sip better. Sweet, creamy, and packed with texture.

The presentation was simple but clean, and the drinks looked just as good as they tasted. Lu & Aug’s is definitely a spot worth checking out if you are in Ardmore and want something cold, sweet, and satisfying.

Foodie verdict: Creamy, flavorful, and worth the stop. I would definitely come back for more.

“I love Duck Donuts!! The donuts are always fresh and the staff is lovely and you can watch them handmade everything behind the glass. “Perfect location to work remote on a Sunday. This location is staffed by a fast and friendly team. The expected menu is supported and orders filled quickly. Nearly no waits.

The building is open and bright with two walls of windows. The long bench has tables for two and four plus power outlets at your feet. Both bathrooms were equally spotless. A great mix of music was playing with good speaker quality at an entertaining not disrupting sound level. Nice outdoor seating on the east side, entry side. I would visit this location again.“
