“Always a great dining experience at the Kunkletown Pub especially with a chef/owner at the helm. The situation is ideal because they check the inventory, prep all the ingredients and plate awesome entrees. The old farmhouse style exterior doesn't prepare you for the 'wait for it' food that the kitchen staff serves up. The food is made to order, typically a bit of a wait yet we are always happy with the results. We ordered the meat lasagna as an appetizer along with a chicken Saltimbocca over steamed spinach, side of stuffed potato plus the six tempura battered XL shrimp and steamed asparagus with a stuffed baked potato. it was all so tasty and fresh! A shout out to the chef for going above & beyond to feed the masses and our ROCKSTAR server, Natasha, who made sure to stop by intermittently to check on us and ensure our satisfaction with our meal.”
“Awesome down to earth local watering hole! Nice big bar, Ryan the bartender makes AWESOME Long Islands! All the regular patrons are super nice and talkative. Food is great. Homemade pizza which is one of my favorite, wings are awesome, wing night is Thursday btw. Has an ice cream shop in the front of the building open seasonally. Just all around fun and down to earth place to to hang out drink a few beers and eat some bomb food. Definitely worth checking out! Also they have awesome servers there too. Awesome service!Parking: Huge parking lot. Never have a hard time to find a spot.”
“First time here and awesome. Was a tad pricey for the pad Thai but was worth it for how much you get and how good it tastes. I got mine to go so the photo doesn’t do much justice but very good!”
“My son and I got two amazingly made iced lattes. My son also got a very eye pleasing and delicious peanut butter, banana crepe. He loved it so much he even managed to eat it with the fork he broke lol. highly recommended. will visit often. Helpful & friendly staff.”
“Food is decent, pretty expensive tho. The wait times are absolutely ridiculous. For cheese steak wings salad and fries it took all of about 1hr. From entering order to leaving the restaurant. They tell you 30 minutes at least when you order then take your 10-15minute drive there and then wait another 10 minutes. Yeah there was a couple customers in there. But I can order the same amount of food right down the road at another restaurant and wait 20-30 till I’m home with food not 1hr. Good people in there though.”
“Cozy location. BYOB if you want to sit. Just beware little seating. Food is definitely family recipes, it’s nice to have GOOD Italian in Brodheadsville. Go support!”
“Amazing hot dogs served in a no frills way. Convenient seating across the street since there isn't any inside. Easy ordering and the staff was efficient and fast.”
“I have been getting my cakes here for the last 3 years, 3 weeks ago my kids had the flu and I had to cancel my 9 year olds’ birthday party and cancel his cake order a day before the party. I understand the cancellation policy and understand that I won’t be refunded for the late cancellation. On a wimp I messaged them at 10pm on December 30th, the night before his postponed party date hoping they may have a Roblox cake available. They said they didn’t. And then messaged me in the morning telling me they had an extra cake in the freezer that matched our previously ordered flavor and they would try to make the cake before the party as they were busy that morning and were making no promises. Not only did they go out of their way to try when they had no obligation to but they decorated his cake exactly how we ordered it and had it ready for us.This type of service is unheard of. The owner even messaged me later that day and apologized for not greeting my son and I when we picked it up. Unheard of. I’m amazed by their humanity and incredibly grateful for them. Thank you so much for adding some magic to our holiday season. I was still going to hire them for future celebrations after learning about the cancellation policy because I understand business and they’ve always been amazing and this just solidified my stance and I will tell everyone where to buy cakes and treats. Oh and their cakes taste amazing. They have a customer for life.”
“Amazing experience at Point Phillips! Exceptional service and delicious smoked fried mozzarella appetizer. The pickle brined chicken sandwich was packed with flavor. Their smokehouse sampler I chose the smoked wings and brisket, did not disappoint. Mac and cheese and baked beans were the perfect sides.PS if you’re a ranch lover theirs is top notch!Highly recommend”
“I absolutely will be going back there soon , they have great food , and the service is amazing. You are greeted with a smile and served a delicious meal. If you're in the area they are great to eat in or take out.”
“My family decided to visit Caribbean Deck Cafe while we were vacationing in the Poconos. From the moment we walked in, Shaine treated us like family! He allowed us to taste test a few dishes and we enjoyed talking to him about all kinds of things. As for the food itself, it felt like we were at Shaine's backyard barbeque! He kept piling it on and the portions were huge! We tried the curry goat (my favorite, though everything could arguably be considered a favorite!), the oxtail, stew chicken, and jerk chicken - each dish was full of flavor, hot/fresh, and oh so satisfying! The curry goat was seasoned to perfection, the oxtail was meaty and tasty, the stew chicken meat was fall-off-the-bone (see photo), and the spicy homemade jerk sauce was out of this world! Anytime we go to the Poconos, we plan on being back here for sure. The sides consisted of plantains and cabbage, and both paired very well with each meal. Rice options are rice and peas or white rice (rice was delicious). We dined in and appreciated the large plates and overall attentive experience. After our meal, Shaine hooked us up with sweet potato pudding and Hennessy cake on the house! And I must say: Both hit the spot! The sweet potato pudding was like a slice of sweet potato pie with pudding consistency - it was hot and sweet, and it was exactly what I needed after the amazing meal. Hennessy cake gave me rum cake vibes (note: I don't drink alcohol and am far from a connoisseur) and it was also great! We want to thank Shaine for really going above and beyond to take care of our family. The Poconos community is blessed to have him and Caribbean Deck Cafe! Every 5-Star Review is well-earned/well-deserved, and you will NOT regret visiting. Very highly recommended!!!”
“If you haven't eaten here yet, you are missing out on a great meal. BYOB, best pierogies around.Kid-friendliness: They really make you feel like part of the family.”
“Fuze Nutrition offers a tasteful tea experience with an array of flavors. The teas are not only energizing but also flavorful. One standout treat is the dirt cup, an absolute delight that combines seasonal charm with a satisfyingly rich taste. It makes it a perfect spot for those looking for both flavor and a satisfying, nutritious experience in the area.”
“And yet another update, their Pizza is spectacular, phenomenal I have gotten myself mixed slices. Update,,, I said I would have picture next time! Pizza is pretty good, outstanding service spectacular!!..”
“What an amazing experience we had at the Underground Experience. The speaker Randy was amazing, we did arrive a little late due to the weather conditions but the staff was nice enough to wait for our party. Very inspirational speaker and learned alot about the wine process.. Also, loved the atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming. I will be coming back when the weather gets warmer.Thank you Blue Ridge”
“We recently stopped here before looking at a house in the area. Now we are hoping to find a house close so this can be our regular pizza spot! Great service, wonderful family people, who make fantastic food!! We’ll be back, wether we move there or not :)”
“I can't say enough about this place. It is just as good or even better than the big chain Rodizios. They don't do the salad bar anymore, but that's okay with me; I only want the meat anyway. They will bring classic sides to the table, though. This restaurant is over an hour away from us, but our go-to spot when going out for special occasions. Definitely use the online reservation system.”
“Ordered the special on a saturday night 2 large cheese pies and a 2 ltr coke for 20.99+tax. Asked if i could add a topping on the special and was no problem. Food was done as i walked in, staff were friendly, GREAT PRICE for 2 large pies and drink. Pizza was great, good sauce. Will order from again :)Cons: stairs to the door while trying to juggle them large pies and a 2 ltr.”
“This is possibly the greatest italian/pizza restaurant there is. I've been all over the country and have not found a place that can compare to the quality, quantity and price... if your ever in the area check it ”
“I took a party of (total) 6 adults to celebrate my birthday. We dined in the evening, with reservations on a week-nite. Service was very slow, despite the 7:30pm hour. After being seated, we waited for 20 minutes for the waitress to come over and take our drink order. However, service & food picked up after that. The food was very good. I had the twin lobster tails and raw oysters & salad, all very good. My son had the rib-eye steak, which he enjoyed. Despite a slow start in service, I would recommend this restaurant for the variety and tasty food.Parking: Plenty of free parking in their own spacious parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Doors are wide with ramps providing access to those in wheelchairs who need it.”
“The place people and food and baked goods are amazing i will be back again I found my new get away spot god bless the owners on their new bakery I hope they stay open ”
“Enjoyed a seasonal heirloom tomato pizza with pesto and balsamic glaze and a glass of their Cayuga. Loved the covered porch with the view of the winery and foundation.”
“I've been going here for years! Love this tuckef away spot for food on the go at their drive-thru and dining in equally. Great service and the owner is in often. Huge selection of menu items. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu!Vegetarian options: They have vegan substitutes and GF bread, just ask!!”
“This place is great, a real gem for a town Nazareth's size. The food is always well prepared, especially the tempura. Most places in the valley give you greasy, American style fried junk, but Hana's is really authentic. The atmosphere is cozy and laid back, and the service is quick. The only thing I would change is a few more vegetarian options on the menu.”
“Just moved to the area and didn’t have a chance to buy groceries yet so I stoped by to grab a couple slices. Growing up in west New York and coming off a recent trip to Italy, I didn’t assume this pizza would be much.My assumption was dead wrong. The crust is thin and crispy on the edges while firm enough to hold the slice together throughout. The cheese is melted and blended with the toppings very well. The do a great job here and it’s only a matter of time before this place really blows up!Truly great pizza!”
“Sal's is a family tradition to us, so we make the hour ride and go every year in February for our late family members birthday. This year the service was awful. Each one of us got our meal at a different time, we didn't get silverware to eat with, no one came back and asked if we needed anything. The food was just alright. Stuffed shells were lacking ricotta, pizza sauce was bland, soup tasted like from a package.I just don't think our tradition will continue at Sal's. ?”
“Always wonderful ice cream! We actually prefer this one and we have one in town. The service has been good.My youngest daughter was a little uncomfortable with a male worker wearing acrylic nails and acting like a girl. That isn't something I think should be forced on kids. But all in all he was nice.”
“Great food and service here today (March 30). We had the lunch special of stuffed shells which came with bread and the small house steak sandwich with a full separate side of onion rings. The onion ring portion was large. Everything was great tasting and well priced. Our server was fabulous.”
“Stopped here because it was the most convenient when I was traveling. And I'm glad I did. Very very high quality and has that family-owned vibe. And lets face it, "Franks Pizzeria" is a 99% chance to be better than some hipster brick fired oven place. In this case it's 100%. Great placeVegetarian options: Some specialty pizzas are vegetarian. Those that arent usually have 1-2 meats that can be removed to leave the veg/cheese combo”
“I have been visiting my sister and brother in law up here for about 13 years. I have always wondered if this place is open. Wonder no more. I am giving it 5 stars because it is a sight to behold. It is probably one of the last places in America you can smoke inside, classy. That said I do not smoke. The four guys st the bar each had a lit Marlboro Red. No pansy brands here. We were kindly greeted by the bartender who was really nice. If you are in the neighborhood you have to go if you have any curiosity what so ever. They do have food. In fact our arrival was met with excitement as they thought when we came in we were the cook. A warning however that this is not for the meek.”
