“This is my go-to place in Peddlers Village! Every meal I’ve ever had has been delicious, cannot recommend it enough”

“Food is pretty good, been ordering pizzas for over a year now and they remain my go to place. Good pizza, nice employees, can just be a little pricey but they make up for it with the food and service.”

“Let me start by saying we didn’t end up dining in or eating anything. However, I felt it necessary to share our experience. I gave 4 stars because we have heard great things about the food, so I am respecting that. The downfall was the customer service/attitude of the employee(s)/manager.

We showed up with 8 people for a little birthday BBQ lunch. They informed us that they only seat parties of 6 or less. We told them that was fine and informed them we would be fine to do 4 and 4 separately or whatever made sense for them. They either misunderstood us or have a very odd rule in place where they do not accommodate for groups larger than 6 regardless of the circumstance to avoid having to turn away other groups who come in, as they tend to get busy… all things that make perfect sense and we understood fully. The girl we spoke to said she’d grab a manager to see if they could make an exception and let him have the final say… keep in mind we already said we’d break up into smaller groups and sit separately.

He came out and told us we can’t push tables together and would only be able to sit in the front room (a fully-windowed sunroom with a couple 2 tops and a 6 top) which it seemed they thought we wouldn’t want, (again, we had already informed them we were fine with splitting up). At this point, there was only one table in the restaurant (a 6 top).

In the end, the body language was not friendly and the attitudes came off as if we were being difficult. Our spirits are still high, but we were just put off and confused by the whole interaction. Either they need to listen better or be a little more friendly and understanding. We’ll come back another time, but just figured I’d share our little story so you make sure to show up with 6 or less people and avoid having to interact with them too much.

Very bizarre experience—they effectively turned away a guaranteed 8 people to avoid potentially having to turn away other groups on the off-chance that a handful of smaller groups showed up and wouldn’t be able to be accommodated… a very unlikely scenario considering we were happy to sit separately.

We went to Porterhouse which was lovely. We will be back in smaller groups in the future. Hopefully you have a pleasant interaction. Happy Holidays.”

“So, I've been here a couple of times now and have had nothing but a great experience with fantastic beer, knowledgeable cool staff and relaxation on the patio. Don't pay attention to the reviews about decor, lack of music and plastic cups. If you enjoy awesome beer and the ability to walk around the village with it in the previously mentioned plastic cups, then you need to visit them.”

“My husband and I came to eat here on our trip to Peddlers village. We will say absolutely amazing food and service! Our waitress Melinda was just as wonderful! She was a sweetheart and probably the quickest and most attentive waitress we ever had! We would give 10 stars if we could!”

“Best food omg! Fresh zucchini noodles, peppers, orange sauce, pineapple, mango, tofu, cabbage, carrots , cucumbers… choose what you want and change it often. You could eat here everyday and never be bored!”

The venue is absolutely stunning, and the food is phenomenal, yet these two things do not hold a candle to the service. The staff was polite and beyond attentive—they circled the dining room for the entirety of our event ensuring each of our guests had everything and anything they needed. Not one person had to ask for a drink refill, and it’s safe to say that all expectations were exceeded. “Saw a sign for croissants on the sidewalk at 203 South State Street, Newtown, PA. I quickly turned into the parking lot remembering I have been wanting to stop in to this shop. OMG!!!
