We had a great time at Split Rock. There was a mix up with our reservation and the front desk manager helped us out tremendously. She was more than understanding and we greatly appreciate it. The pool and water park were great for the boys. The only issue we had was the location we stayed in was a bit outdated. The curtain would not close and the fridge had not been cleaned for awhile. We did not spend a ton of time in the room however so these were minor inconveniences. Overall...read full review
First the problems: We arrived only to be told that we hadn't paid our resort fees, which we had. After 10 minutes, they figured out that they were looking at the wrong account. With that eventually sorted out, we arrived at the building where our room was only to find that there were no luggage carts available -- and I don't mean that someone else had them, there were none available in our building -- there used to be in previous years since we had stayed in this building before....read full review

After skinning dipping in the pool for several hours and getting chased around by the life guard, I found the Bistro. A shining glimmer of hope. Skinning dipping was not aloud, so I was directed to the Salmon. I bathed in artichokes until I found my way to the mashed potatoe pillows.Food was bi*ching. Waitress was nice and beautiful. A+++
