There may be a small wait, but we’ll worth it! Food and service are excellent! The nostalgia is top notch.
Great atmosphere in this little restaurant right out of the 50s. The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. Definitely have to try the milkshake!

DJ's Taste of the 50's is a restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. Their burgers are highly praised for their juiciness and taste, and their fries and onion rings are also popular for being hot, fresh, and well-prepared. The diner has a wide selection of sandwiches, including breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, and tuna salad sandwiches. The mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders are also favorites, especially among children.
The diner has a 1950s theme that makes diners feel like they have stepped back in time. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is kept clean and tidy. Customers have described the atmosphere as a real old-time family sit-down experience with quality service. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is small but very clean and nicely maintained, with a cozy 1950s decor that adds to the charm.
Diners have highly recommended the burgers, grilled cheese, and BLT, as well as the onion rings. Kids’ meals are served in a car, which adds to the retro charm. The food is served quickly, hot, and delicious, with many noting the Patty Melt, Cheese Steak, and onion rings as standout dishes. The hamburger is cooked to perfection, and the Cheese Steak is considered one of the best outside the Philly area. Customers also enjoy the ice cream and shakes, which look especially tempting.
While the diner could improve by offering breakfast on more days and providing more parking spaces, it remains a popular destination for those seeking a classic diner experience. The staff is friendly, and service is attentive, making every visit enjoyable. Despite some minor issues like unexpected charges for add-ons, most guests leave satisfied and eager to return. The overall atmosphere combines friendly service with a fun, vintage vibe that keeps customers coming back for more.
