A long-standing restaurant that has survived the test of time. They added an outdoor dining area that used to be part of their parking lot. It is a walled-off metal pavilion and it works but it has also exacerbated their parking. I usually have to park down the block to eat there.
If you enjoy simple pub food and beer at reasonable prices, this blue collar bar is a great, casual destination. Absolutely nothing is fancy , nor does it try to be, but it has the friendly neighborhood feel that reminds me of my uncle’s tavern (and other bars) in Pittsburgh as a child and of Lancaster bars from the 1970’s before the town became split between upscale or ghetto. My family went for lunch and we ate outdoors. The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitively go back.Parking: I love that the parking spots are on a slant. This makes pulling in and backing out so much easier in the narrow space beside the building. There is also parking in the back.
