Food was decent and service was pleasant. Walked in to see them making the different kinds of red sauces for the pasta, added a sense of cultural authenticity to the area - very nice touch as I was there for work and looking for food nearby.“

“4/27/2025 Earl Bancroft, blue cooler, I had 3 meals the last three evenings while attending spring Carlisle. Each meal was very good and an outstanding value. These folks prep and cook with fresh ingredients as if they are feeding family! The fact that they allow carry in beer/wine didn’t hurt either. Don’t miss out, give this place a try!!“

“Okay, we might have a problem… we’ve been coming to Marcello's for a few years and always eat in the dining room and order their delicious Italian food, but we’d never tried their pizza. Last week we had their pizza for the first time and we are now having it for the third time in a week. It’s a problem! This white pizza… 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 They gave us these funnel fries and we’re weak in the knees. Cant recommend this place enough. My favorite part is that every time we come in we feel like family. Our new fav! 🍕“

“I ordered a couple of pizzas today via DoorDash to feed my team. The quality of the pizzas and the flavor was top notch. My only issue was the “large” pizza is tiny. Which normally I would be ok but trying to feed a group at work with those tiny pizzas was a bit rough.“

“We were asking family members who had the best subs in Carlisle. They said Brad's! We had their cheeseburger subs the other night and I came back to comment on how good they were. Nice burgers, not frozen patties. Very good rolls, fresh ingredients and just a great sub!“

“I went to mamma's for years. By the way, the remodeling was done by the original momma's, not the oners that's there now. Mimma and Rosario made the pizza shop from 1982-2018, the whole family took pride in what they did, and always gave too others.“

“I’m from NY, where good pizza (of all styles) can be found easily. This pizza is delicious and the best I’ve had in PA so far. Thin crust, light sauce, with an airy crust. We had pepperoni with mushrooms and sausage. Although the mushrooms were canned, they still had a good flavor. pepperoni and sausage were tasty.We also had the garlic knots which were delicious. They have just a small amount of garlic seasoning, which I liked. My boyfriend said they needed more garlic, so it depends on your preference. 12 decent sized knots in an order with plenty of sauce! Generous portions for the price.Only problem is, I can't find a menu anywhere to see what else there is to try here. We asked at the restaurant but they didn't have any. My boyfriend ended up just taking a picture of the menu wall. Other than that, it was excellent and I will be coming back anytime I want pizza.“

“I would absolutely recommend George's! This restaurant was founded on the American Dream! 66 years is a long time y'all! This is such a treasure in Carlisle! Besides that...The staff is amazing, down to earth and friendly (which is very important to me), the dining area/ restrooms were clean, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu and I especially love all their new options for catering! And how sweet is it to look at all those old vintage pictures, and say "hey you see that picture of the kid with the eye patch and busted up teeth, and looks like they belong on a sad commercial raising money... that was me!" haha. It's nice that they have tables instead of just the booths to accommodate more people with parties. And the soda self refill option is nice so you don't need to wait in line anymore to fill up your cup. Their 3 foot Sub is excellent for any event and is a crowd pleaser and a great price too! My absolute favorites would have to be the burger sub on homemade roll, white pizza, onion petals, fries, and milkshake.. okay like everything is good there haha.“

“90% of the time, the food is great! But on April 16th, 2023, I got a delivery. The Fettuccine Alfredo was great, but the salad was AWFUL! I ordered a Grilled Chocken Salad and it DID NOT have any grilled chicken on it, it had NO croutons, & it had NO cheese on it! It was bland and awful!“

“I visited this pizza bolis because the Mechanicsburg location reportedly experienced a fire and closed down. Their pizza was satisfactory, although a bit oily. They do have a restroom, but it's accessed through the kitchen; I'm unsure about their policy on restroom access for customers.“

“This is one of the places where you can still drink and smoke, so smokers seem to gather here. The egg rolls were rather bland. The live entertainment was not to my liking. That’s the extent of the negative. The French fries were outstanding and plentiful. Many places serve cheap blue cheese with wings-not here. Once again tasty and plentiful. Best of all, they have PBR on tap. The clientele is friendly. The wife and I had an enjoyable time. Plan to go back.“
