Such an incredible business! The passion and pride that goes into the products at Merrymead Farm is quite evident in the tastes of their products and conversations with the family and staff! We recently visited and were lucky enough to see firsthand how the business operates. The ice cream is AMAZING and the entire property validates a love of local agriculture! Our drive from Maryland’s eastern shore was definitely worth it!
Came back about 25 years later with my husband after years of coming here as a child and it was still as tasty and magical as I remembered. He got the cookie dough and I got the graham slam with a waffle cone and it was delicious. Definitely a place to come to if you're nearby.
We have been customers for well over twenty years. Have enjoyed the farm, the food and everything they have to offer. They are expensive but have been worth it as the quality has always been there. That being said we purchased a pie as we often do, but this time we were really let down. They pie was half full and very thin. The apples were still semi crunchy and layered about one inch thick throughout. For $17.99 I expect the same quality we have enjoyed for many years....
