Very unique location and setting, being that it is a farm. Silos, animals, and plenty of crops. It's a cool location for an ice cream spot. The ice cream itself was a little limited in quantity, though there was a solid menu selection. I was a bit underwhelmed, but the fact that it is on a farm and made there saves it.
Such an incredible business! The passion and pride that goes into the products at Merrymead Farm is quite evident in the tastes of their products and conversations with the family and staff! We recently visited and were lucky enough to see firsthand how the business operates. The ice cream is AMAZING and the entire property validates a love of local agriculture! Our drive from Maryland’s eastern shore was definitely worth it!
Came back about 25 years later with my husband after years of coming here as a child and it was still as tasty and magical as I remembered. He got the cookie dough and I got the graham slam with a waffle cone and it was delicious. Definitely a place to come to if you're nearby.
