“Went here for brunch and was not disappointed. We ordered two dishes, the Ricotta Pancakes and the Chicken and Waffles. The Ricotta pancake, combines with the cinnamon and sugar butter, was probably the best pancake I have ever had. The Chicken and Waffles were served with honey Chipotle sauce, giving it a unique taste from similar dishes at other restaurants. You might want to make reservations here. We arrived at lunch and there was over an hour wait for a table, but we were able to get a seat at the bar.“

“Can’t count how many times we’ve been here but here is my review of Silk City.

The food was excellent. Can’t go wrong in any order. Loved the ambiance. The drinks were good. It’s good to have a reservation as this place gets packed every time, but they could accommodate you to the diner section. Service at the diner section usually takes longer. Lots of parking around the area, but it’s better if you take Lyft or Uber. Staff were amazing and really friendly.

We will always go back to this place.“

“This place is always packed so i stopped in to check it out. Really glad i did, inside was jumping, waitresses walking quickly from the kitchen to the tables. People sitting at tables and boths eating and smiling. The food was good, not just okay, but really good. I could see why the patking lot was always full. Top notch service too, just a bunch of happy workers greeting customers that appeared to be friends or regulars. What a really nice place. “Huge fan, I’ve never had a bad sandwich at Johnny Hot’s, until today 8/30/24. I was supposed to have just pork roll on a steak roll with spicy mustard, no egg and no cheese. The pork roll is usually cut very thin with a nice braise on it. It had egg & cheese on it. The egg & cheese were warm the meat was cool, no grill color to it. By the time I took the egg & cheese off there was hardly any pork roll, very disappointed. It was “no change” Friday, so I gave my apprentice 15 dollars for a sandwich I couldn’t even eat.“

She forgot a couple items but was well spoken and sincere. We and others could easily see how much she was challenged. A big crowd came in right away. “Let me start by saying don't go in here expecting a traditional restaurant experience. This is an old school, fast paced, self-serve/take-out style diner that is CASH ONLY (has an ATM). That, however, is EXACTLY what I want for good breakfast on a busy weekday morning. And good doesn't begin to describe it. Staff are a well oiled machine used to a very busy fast-paced environment who are there to get your order, give you your food, and let you move on with your day.
Now the food. Let me say, it isn't hard to make good home fries, but these were AMAZING. Onions and peppers in perfectly made home fries with perfect consistency and a taste to die for. No need to season them as they were perfectly seasoned. In my almost 41 years of life, these are the best damned home fries I've ever had! My eggs were made perfectly over medium with wonderful runny yolk like I love them and were wonderfully flavorful. Sausage patties were delicious as well, partner got pancakes that were fluffy and sweet even before the butter and syrup. Excellent diner, fast service. For anyone that likes this kind of place, it is up there for best ever!“

“My husband and I stopped here for a bite to eat on our way home from New Jersey. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our waitress was kind and prompt. She brought coffee and water quickly and our food followed shortly after. I had an omelet with turkey sausage, onions, peppers, and cheese added. My husband had a western omelet. The only minor, silly critique I have is that the pepper don’t come out of the shaker all that well, but again that’s a minor issue. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend!“
