“Had our family in from New York and took them to Marco's cause it's the best pizza in town. The staff was attentive and welcoming. We had a great time and I highly recommend this place to any local PA people or New York transplants like us.“

“A very nice place, differently decorated. The staff is great, friendly and very knowledgable about the food. The soup was amazing, lobster bisque, nice thickness and plenty of lobster, the portions are huge and good taste, the rolls are nice and warm, just hard to stop eating them....Im like pasta sauce in any variation, however, if you are a person set on your sauce, the sauce has a hint of sweetness, I liked it very much with my bread. The deserts are homemade, fresh, and very good. Looking forward to another visit.“

“After living in Florida for forty years I had forgotten what a real bakery was like. There is nothing I do not love here - the rolls, sticky buns, pitza, bread, everything is the best and worth a stop if you're anywhere near here. If you've never had the "pitza" you must try it, I've spent time in Italy and this is by far better than anything I've had there. It's not hot mind you. Very different and very very good!“

“Take a walk back in time to 1933. This place is a GEM. Small intimate bar and seating for 15. The phone rings non stop and the bartenders chirp orders into a microphone to the kitchen. Beer is fresh and ice cold and a steady stream of people come and go getting Pitza to go. We got a 12 cut half schamutz/Romano and half sausage hot peppers. The schamutz is flavorful and fresh tomatoes and pairs perfectly with the aged Romano. The sausage it shaved and the hot peppers have the right amount of spice and brine. Senapes in THE TRUTH.“

“After years of trying pizza places in the area, we found Giuseppe's. Their pizza is top notch, and they'll customize however you want. The sides are good too (even though I'm a big fan of crinkle cut fries, theirs are pretty good)...onion rings are yummy and reheat well. Steak sandwich was luster and you definitely need to order extra meet or the roll will overshadow the filling, but I don't go to a pizza shop for a steak sandwich! Stromboli's reflect the same high quality as the pizzas. Our definite go to place for pizza night!“

“Chicken Catchatori (wrong spelling) on the left, Shrimp Scampi on right. Both were very good dinners that came with a side salad or french fries. I also had Pasta Fagioli soup that was also very good. There were high chairs available if needed. Not a very big dining area there were alot of tables that we're occupied when we were there. Met Bruno the owner, very nice guy. Sum it up, awesome food and very nice owners , if you're in that area, give it a try you will enjoy the food.Parking: Alot of room to park with other businesses connected down the parking lot.“

The are very family oriented and love to catch up every time we stop in, always asking about my sisters kids and my dad and if that doesn't say just how much the care about there customers i dont know how else to convince you. “By far, the best quality of pizza I’ve had. The pizza with extra cheese has literally 0 grease coating the box or crust. The cheese tastes so fresh and the dough and homemade sauce is perfection. If you haven’t had this gentleman’s pizza, order a large with xtra cheese. My family’s go to for pizza.“
“Love this restaurant... Been going there since I was a kid... Moved away for about 10 years and every store/restaurant in town including The movie theater that was remodeled when I was growing up has been closed when I returned except Tommy's and I am so grateful for that. This place is just like I remembered. They have the best bread and Italian dressing ever I highly suggest going here if you have not and if you have then just keep on coming and bring along some friends... Everyone should support their local restaurant to keep it alive. They are like a dying breed nowadays and need our help.. amazing owners that only higher amazing staff to go with... Thanks Tommy's and happy 40th anniversary! Hope you never change...Kid-friendliness: Amazing people that only dish out amazing quality.. not only kid friendly... Friendly to The community in general“

“I ordered the special, penne with clams and calamari. It was delish. The sauce..OMG and the size. I ate it 2 more nights. It came with a huge bowl of soup, I chose Minestrone, which I brought part of it home. My friend got the enormous salad and chicken marsala which came with 3 large pieces of chicken over pasta. She ate one and got a doggy bag, too. The food came out steaming hot. Can't wait to go back again. Our waitress, Joyce, was fabulous as always. Bravo??Parking: On the street right in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a convenient ramp which I used.“

“A small place (and leave the bathroom doors open if you need to use them). The pizza was very good as well as the taco's, as well as the staff! A very good meal to bring to my Mudder in Law so she didn't have to cook 3 night's in a row. Enjoy and Happy Holidays to all!“

“The building has been there for many years but these new owners take food seriously! They are always rushing behind the counter but the food is SO worth it. It has its busy times which is to be expected. If you are in the area I would 110% recommend trying somethingParking: So, this is no fault of the eatery as they do not own the parking lot BUT it is very pot hole filled. There are barely visible lines, and it's not the best to drive intoWheelchair accessibility: There are 0 stairs and the doorway is unobstructed“

“This was my first time to McAdoo and this restaurant. It is literally one of four places to eat, all located on the main street of town. We stopped in for some drinks and appetizers. Most people hear McAdoo and they think of NBA star Bob McAdoo or disgraced NY Giants former head coach Ben McAdoo. For me, my father was born here on the day I arrived, 100 years ago! Our order started with drinks, The Godfather ($7) and Sangiovese ($6/glass). Our appetizers were the antipasto salad ($8.45), mozzarella sticks ($5 / 5 sticks) and two bowls pasta fagioli soup ($8.10 for two). What I liked: - Their price points were great - The pasta fagioli was loaded with product and had great depth to it - The antipasto salad had more chopped cheese and meats than lettuce which is always a good thing - The fresh style sauce with the mozzarella sticks was excellent. The mozzarella sticks were crisp and better than average. What I Did Not Like: - The pasta fagioli was over salted - The additional fee to use a credit card My Italian Scallion culinary rating is 8.1/10 cloves of garlic. As Sheryl Crow sang 100 Miles from Memphis, my song tonight was 100 Years from McAdoo!“

“I ordered delivery, I'm a Truck Driver. They must of heard it in my voice , I was Hungary, The Ceasars chicken salad was over the top and in abundance, fresh, plenty of chicken, I couldn't eat it all, and I ordered a sub. Delivery didn't take long at all, and the Driver was awesum. Will order again when I'm in the area.Lisa from Va“

“I have to say this is one of our go to places for local pizza. The pizza's not bad, they're from Canarsie, so we always have a good time talking about the city, service is wonderful everybody is super friendly, which makes a big difference. There are certain places that I've been to down the road in Tamaqua we are the service was so nasty. I'll never go back there again. I don't care how good their pizza is anyway, but back to how wonderful this place is. We were skeptical at first, but it really grew on us. Also, the Caesar salads are killer.“
