The food is all prepared from scratch everyday which in this day and age is awesome. They're very accommodating and can talk about what is in the food.

“So I'm a native of this area and I been away for the past ten years and moved back last year, ten months ago. And I'm going to start doing videos for YouTube on the best spots to eat in the area at the best prices. So hopefully the restaurants I review will think that's cool. If I had to pick number one best Chinese food around Pittsburgh, this is the place for sure. There is another location in the area not too far I eat at too and I'm a fan but this location is number one hands down. The Won Ton Soup and The Egg Drop Soup are the best soup I ever tasted in a Chinese restaurant. My son who is a Kindergartner loves the Sweet And Sour Chicken, the fried donuts, and the fried dumplings. My favorite entree is the Shrimp with Broccoli and best house fried rice ever. I get take out a lot but the restaurant is beautiful and great atmosphere for kids. And they give great deals, so China City my number one favorite Chinese in the area.“

If you want to host a large party and need trays of food, this is definitely the place to order from. Many people asked where did I order this from because they were impressed with the quantity and taste of the food. Not my primary place for chinese but had exactly what I needed for an event. “We stopped by on a whim looking for something different in the area. The staff were very friendly and attentive, quick service. The food was really good and the serve large portions. They accidentally got part of my husband's order wrong but promptly fixed it without an issue. I had cashew chicken. The sauce was flavorful and I appreciated having the added vegetables, all was very fresh. The fried rice was great. Crab rangoons were fresh! Husband had tofu pad thai, spicy which he said was also fresh and good. Quiet atmosphere at the time we went (6pm on a Wednesday). We will definitely visit again!“

“Went there for the first time on Tuesday October 4th. I had the General two's chicken and crab Rangoon's. I was surprised with the amount of crab Rangoon's I got. Even though it was packed to go I asked the nice lady if it was okay if my friend and I could eat inside. That wasn't a problem. Everything was fresh! The chicken didn't taste stale (unlike some places I've eaten at in Nebraska) the egg roll was not bad, and the crab Rangoon's were pretty good too just thought they could have used a little extra flavor like a little green onion or some white pepper. The protion looked small but don't let your eyes fool you it was a decent sized portion and I got full. Split the crab Rangoon's with my friend and ate them on my dinner break at work. I probably will end up going back but there's other places in the area I want to try as well.“

“Good selection of food choices. Entree items were tasty. Be advised however that likely earlier in the day would be better to get fresher food. Food is cooked and maintained in a steam table so later in the evening the rice, lo mein, etc may be a little crispy/dry. Overall though for the price, pretty good.“
