“Had lunch with my bank co-workers. Our waitress wasn't really friendly & sometimes didn't understand me or others. I'm on a healthy eating plan & couldn't have some of the food that came with the meal. But everything tasted good.“
“I've gone there several times since all the Chinese buffets in the tri-county area seem to be lackluster. The amount of food you get for the money is outstanding. I always get "todays special" which is literally always the orange chicken. Except for the last time, I tried General Tso's chicken. The rice is great, the egg rolls are great, the chicken isn't any different than any other chinese place I've gone to. I like the place, I enjoy supporting their business, I just wish they'd mix up the special once in awhile. It feels like a place in a video game, like a facade or something, a little weird, but I enjoy going there when I'm at the mall. I've never gotten sick off their food so not sure why others are commenting on food poisoning. Drinks are expensive for what you get so I usually just get a drink somewhere else.“
“We came right as they were transitioning between lunch and dinner. We impressed that some of the items that were sitting out since lunch time were still fresh. I think only a few pieces of chicken I had were dry.The chicken on a stick was surprisingly juicy, but it did not have much flavor. The pan fried dumplings tasted watered down, but the sliced potatoes had a ton of seasoning. I would come here again just for the potatoes. The peanut chicken was also good.I wish more of the items had as much flavor as the potatoes, but overall, I think this place deserves more than 3 stars.“
“I have ordered two times this week from here. I was so satisfied with the food and service that I received the first time that I came back. The food is very good. It has a lot better flavor than other places I have gone to. The portions of food are big for the small price. I come from 3 towns away to come here. I pass many Chinese restaurants to come here. No other places can compare or compete with their great food, price and service. I will continue to order from here from now on and from no other Chinese restaurants. This place is a definite must try. Believe me, you will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: There are selections that are for vegetarians that look just as delicious.Kid-friendliness: There are gifts and toys that they have for sale at very affordable prices. This is on top of all the great food.“
“Food is always fresh not turned over and mixed with more food like most buffets, the 2 waitresses I've met are both very nice and on top of things your cup won't go empty. Also very clean no food left on floor. Please Remember to tip! They don't serve your food but they do take your plates clean tables ,floor, chairs, and fill your cup as much as you want! Thankyou!Vegetarian options: Many options with no meatDietary restrictions: They will special cook a mealKid-friendliness: Plenty of choices for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Doors are wide, bathroom is bigger size, they will help if you need help, parking right in front no curb.“
“Excellent pork fried rice! One of the best, and I'm from Seattle where we had Tasters Wok, by far the very best Chinese food any where, and this place's pork fried rice is almost as good. Their honey chicken is good, but not the best. Their beef broccoli was awful. The broccoli was almost raw, the beef was slimy and fatty. Their prawns are just deep fried shrimp.“
“Ordered the Spicey Garlic Chicken Dinner Deal to go. I also got a side of Crab Rangoons, and the Dinner Deal came with an Egg Roll too. I took it home and was planning on eating only half and save the other half for lunch tomo. I couldn't stop eating it! It was so fresh and flavorful. What a wonderful accident bc I was craving subway but they were closed so I went to China City. Friendly service too. So good.“
“I hadn't been there in over 10 years. The only thing that changed is that they have a small area to place your order instead of walking up to the counter. They did have a space heater and a chair there to sit and wait. The food is just as good as I remember and really liked that I could get the food less spicy. The staff was nice.“
“Really Good Wonton Soup!! I love the flavor and the Wontons are perfect! And you can't beat the amount for the price too! Also, any of the combination dinners are so nice and proportioned perfectly for a nice dinner!! Huge fan of the chef and the tasty dishes that come out of this restaurant! The staff are also helpful and courteous! Clean establishment and well placed in Chippewa! Thankful for the Staple of the neighborhood!!“
“I was hesitant to eat here after seeing some of the 1 star reviews. However, my experience was nothing but pleasant. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The wait time for our food was pleasant enough. And the food was delicious. I had the chicken with walnuts. Everything was delicious and fresh. If this was the restaurant after it had gone downhill, then I can only imagine what it was like before because it was a fantastic experience for me. I'm glad I went with an empty stomach because there was so much food. But like I said it was all delicious and very hot for the first 10-15 minutes of eating. I really appreciated the combination of ingredients in my meal. I think most people can expect to spend around $20-$25 per adult, but the price was worth it. The restaurant isn't a work of art inside but it was nicely lit with comfortable seating and most importantly it was clean. So I'm guessing either the people with bad reviews just caught the place on a bad night or something else is going on because I couldn't find anything bad to say about the restaurant and I was looking for something after what a lot of other's said.“
