I lived in South Philly for 27 years and spent my teen year summers from 12-19 in North Wildwood. I know a great pizza and cheesesteak from mediocre. Until I went to Femi’s, the best cheesesteaks I ever had were from Russo’s in North Wildwood. The closest I’ve ever come for cheesesteaks is Femi’s in Lester. Their steaks, especially their pizza steaks are fantastic. Every pizza and Stromboli I’ve ever ordered are great too! Can’t find anything better in South Philly.
I got a pepperoni pizza from here and it was everything I want out of a pizza. The crust was a perfect mix of crispy and fluffy, the sauce is tomatoey, sweet, not too tangy or spicey. Just cheesey enough. The pepperonis were crusty around the edges and moist and meaty in the middle. Id put this in my top tier pizzas.
