“We came here during restaurant week, and the servings are just enough for each member of the group to try. This restaurant serves great food that makes you want to appreciate every bite. Sampan is linked, and this location is typically busy. Since the dining room was downstairs, there was a kind of nice corridor leading to it. You and your group can choose from a small variety of dishes to share at the table during restaurant week, with some items having an additional fee. There was a stronger romantic vibe. Here, the Kobe beef is a great choice.”

“I've been here a few times, it's a fun place to bring people because of the whole speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so it's hit or miss if you can actually get in. Drinks are hit or miss for me too. Over time I've done drinks from the menu and the bartenders choice. I know it sounds silly but I really dislike the ice they use! It's like ice chips which cheapens the drinks, which seems to go against the suave swanky vibe. I got the pickle mule this time though and really liked it.”

“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.”

“Pretty good experience! There was a little bit of a mix up with what we ordered but they instantly took care of it and got us the rest of our food. Some of the food was hit or miss. The broll, Bloc party, Hijiki, and e I shumai was great but I didn't really like the chashu because it was a bit gummy and the wings were not my favorite. But other than that, it was all great. I will definitely come back soon to try more things :)”

“Definitely the best omakase in Philly!! Quaint bar setting BYOB! Right up close great sushi masters. No special occasion just decided to have sushi with my son. Every course was outstanding! Flavors were amazing. I love seeing the reactions of the other patrons as the eat the courses! Will definitely be back many time hopefully. Well worth the drive great neighborhood ample parking. Beware of the non descript building.At $158 you will be very satisfied with every bite. The ala carte menu has some great add ins priced accordingly 20-38$. “Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!”

“This restaurant is located on East Passyunk in South Philly. I love the ambiance and service was great. Meat and veggie platter was delicious. The platter also came with pizza dough which was surprisingly really good. I am also currently obsessed with their gnocchi, it has the perfect texture and the sauce was amazing. “An exceptional dinning experience, but getting in is a bit tricky. The restaurant opens advanced online bookings in intervals of two week blocks, on the Sunday prior. There are two seatings each night, 6:30pm and 8:30pm. If you can’t get a reservation for the released block time, you can request to be added to the wait list. That’s exactly how I received my dinning spot. The experience is intimate, warm and friendly. It truly is like being invited to a friend’s house for dinner, except your friend won’t be serving you these yummy dishes. The food creations are amazing and the courses numerous. The chef announces each dish before it’s served, explaining the ingredients and inspiration. They also provide an extensive wine list and delicious craft cocktails. Highly recommend!”

“The best Pho I’ve had in the city. It’s cash only but they have an ATM there. One of the biggest appeals for me other than the food is that they always seat you immediately and bring out your food practically as fast as you order it. It’s also at a good price point. Depending on when you go parking is usually hard to find so you’re probably better off parking on the street nearby.Parking: Depending on when you go parking can be hard to find.
