Billy D's Bar-B-Q Caterers
26 Roundabout Ln, Levittown

“Billy D's catered our summer party. Everything was outstanding! Everyone raved about the brisket and roast turkey. Both were incredibly tender and flavorful. Sausage and peppers, mac and cheese, coleslaw and rolls were also a bit hit. All of our guests texted us the next day to say how much they loved the food and several asked for Billy D's contact info. Delivery was prompt! Food was hot and secure in heavy duty aluminum trays and the price was more than reasonable. What a fantastic experience! We will definitely be using Billy D's again!“

Colonial Hall Caterers • $$
701 Fallsington-Tullytown Rd, Levittown

“We had our wedding here on August 25, 2018. I cant say enough about Colonial Hall. We had a special request for the menu and Peggy, one of the chefs, did everything to make it happen. Karen was also great. They were very accommodating and very eager to help us plan our special day. The place looked beautiful the night of our wedding. The hall looked very elegant. The friendly staff definitely makes it worth it as well. I truly felt like they genuinely cared about us and making us happy. I did not get this vibe from other places I went to go see. I specifically went with colonial hall because of the positive and friendly attitude everyone has here. I loved it! My only complaint is that we can't do it all over again :)“

2 Little Piggys BBQ and Catering Caterers • $$
159 Appletree Dr, Levittown

“2 Little Piggys was on the preferred vendor list from our venue, Durham Hill Farm, and they were highly recommended personally by the coordinator. I’m so glad we listened to that recommendation. I loved Julie from the very first email. Not only are her prices incredibly fair when it comes to wedding catering, but she is SO willing to do ANYTHING you want, even if it’s not on her menu. We jokingly asked about an oyster bar at our tasting, and she said, “Yep! We can do that!” So we did; Julie shucked them herself and they were some of the best we’ve ever had! My one dream for my wedding since I was little was to have pie instead of cake, and she was SO on board when I brought it up to her. I also wanted a “cider bar welcome” with hot and cold cider for guests as they arrived, and she made it happen. She made every personalized detail come to life, and it was all perfect and delicious. We ended up pretty much revamping our entire menu after our tasting because we wanted a different vibe, and we have zero regrets about going the BBQ route. The food was phenomenal. People loved it. The buffet moved quickly. Her servers were amazing (people keep telling me how attentive, present, and kind they were; we experienced the same as the bride and groom). People never had to wait in long lines at the bar. Julie and her staff even went above and beyond to help clean up our decor after the event. She is an expert at what she does. You can’t go wrong hiring her and her team. Truly couldn’t have asked for better!“

“I heard a lot about Jules@market. When the house jazz band was scheduled we took the opportunity to check it out. The ambiance was great. A subtitled film noir projected against one wall while the jazz trio played against the opposite wall. We loved that. There’s an open kitchen design which really works in an otherwise tight space. One small minus is that it could be vented better. I came home smelling like food. Having said that, the food was exceptionally good. I read some reviews that spoke about small portions. My response is- if you want tonnage, eat fast food or at a chain restaurant. Jules@market is not that. Everything was fresh and on point. One drawback- most restaurants that offer sparkling bottled water also offer flat. I was surprised that Aqua Panna wasn’t available but Pelligrino was available. We don’t drink tap water so I was forced to drink carbonated water which isn’t the greatest for my stomach. Had I known I would have brought my own. Now the service- the staff was super friendly. I left over 20% because of this. But, to put it bluntly they need training. The food is great, the prices are high, the ambiance is amazing. The service should match but it doesn’t. I’m being specific in this review because I love that Bristol is changing and growing and want this restaurant to really really succeed. So here are my comments:1) when people put utensils together to the side it indicates they are finished and the plate can be removed. When it is open and food remains don’t ask to take the plate. 2) Remove all dirty dishes promptly- out bread dishes and used butter stayed on the table the entire meal 3) clear the table before bringing dessert. Looking at dirty dishes while eating the most perfect key lime pie detracts from the experience. 4) timing could be better. We waited 25 minutes for our appetizers and then waited again for a side after being served our main courses at separate times. Have someone follow the server and put the entire course down together. 5) Not once were our water glasses refilled by staff. We poured the Pelligrino ourselves 6) Never bring the plastic bus bins onto the floor to clear a table. That’s for diners, not nice restaurants. Use a tray to remove dishes if need be.I eat at high end restaurants and the service makes the night. That’s why we tip and don’t get take out, we like to relax and have a pleasant experience. I’d love to come back and have the amazing food ( worth every Penny) and have the service be more on point. The food is perfect, fresh, tasty, excellent presentation. The staff couldn’t be friendlier- really lovely people. The ambiance is great, quaint and inviting. I gave a five star because I think the service just needs a little tweak.UPDATE: After posting my review I was contacted by a man saying he was the general manager. I’m not sure how he got my phone number but I wish he would not have called. He was positively berating me about how my review was damaging, he had 15 people to keep on payroll, his family was from Bristol, and I just wrote the review to benefit myself. I could barely respond. He was erratic and attacking. It was off putting considering my teenage son was in the car as he wouldn’t let up and was on speaker. At first I tried speaking with him. I felt my review was good, fair, and spoke very highly about everything except the service- which others have critiqued similarly here on google review. After five minutes of him venting I was still trying to make things right and asked if I could make a suggestion. His response was very rude. He said,” if you make it quick.” At that point I realized that whatever is going on in his life- he decided to take it out on me. I was done. I said,” Never mind. Have a good day.”I later heard that the jazz house band who I was seen talking to was fired and told that I complained about the music. That’s absurd and a lie. They were fired as some sort of weird retribution or maybe they can’t afford to pay them anymore and used me as a scapegoat. Either way this restaurant is not managed properly.“

“Without exception, this is the best Deli (catering too) on the east coast. If you're looking for a great sandwich on great bread, this is your place. Prepared food is top notch too. Genuinely surprised there aren't more of these around, but that speaks to the family aspect. Joe Chiarello struck gold here, and his family has kept the standard as high all these years. Falls Manor Catering & Special Events Caterers • $$
4010 New Falls Rd, Bristol - 3.4 miles

“Where to start? Unfortunately, I'm writing this review late (6 months after getting married). But in return for writing it late we have gotten so much feedback from all of our friends and family who attended our wedding. To this day people still bring up our wedding saying it was fantastic, the aesthetic, decorations, food, drinks, music, everything. Falls Manor venue was a dream come true. When my husband (Matt) and I started looking at venues we both agreed on one thing. How the heck were we going to afford all of this? Between the venue, DJ, photographer, videographer, etc. We looked at venues in NJ (where we live currently) and almost everything started at $200 dollars per plate per person with a minimum of 200 or more people. And although we always loved the idea of having a wedding and a party to celebrate and have fun with all of our friends and families, we couldn't justify spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a 1 day event. Then we found Falls Manor. They were literally a dream come true. The price was right, it included everything from the food, drinks, planning tools and more. They gave us options to choose for enhancements to add to our package. Some examples were 1 free dance lesson at the dance studio, a sparkler send off, and their treasure chest. Their treasure chest was and is the best thing for a venue to offer! It contains every decoration you can think of from table centerpieces to signage for the cocktail hour area. So Matt and I didn't need to spend any extra money on decorations that we would never use again. We probably saved at least a couple thousand dollars by not having to worry about that and the best part is the team at Falls Manor sets up everything for you so all you have to do is show up. They are all so organized and friendly. I can't tell you how many times I emailed Brian or Sonya, but I'm sure it was enough to get annoying at times. But every single time I emailed them they answered within a day they made everything so easy from the day we booked them to the day we got married and always answered all my questions that I had. The food was also phenomenal and not just cocktail hour. Most people when they talk about food from venues is that the cocktail hour was great but the dinner service was okay. We had been to a lot of weddings in 2023 and Falls Manor had the best food out of all of them cocktail hour, dinner and dessert. Almost all of the guests agreed as well. Most people told us that at other weddings they'd been to that year the food was not hot or it was dried out and that Falls Manor was the only one they had gone to that had neither. Which is one of the most important things for people is the food. It makes me so happy to hear that they do events for certain holidays like Valentine's Day and also have baby showers now because I would 110% go back in a heartbeat. If you are looking for a venue that is gorgeous and not going to cost you an arm and a leg per person this is the venue for you. I wish I could go back in time and relive the day over and over for how smoothly everything went and how good all the food, drinks, music, etc. was. Thank you again to the whole team at Falls Manor and Brian and Sonya for everything you did to make our wedding magical!“

They have big chunks of well seasoned pork and a green sauce so delicious it'll make you upset you didn't come in sooner (I've gotten an order everytime i've gone). The empenadas and papusas deserve a shout out too. They have a steam table with tons of hot food and I'm on a quest to try it all, and so far everything has been delicious! There is no seating, but the service is fast and friendly, always with a smile. The gentleman behind the counter took the time to explain what the dishes at the hot bar were to me, which I appreciated. Overall, this place is a hidden gem worth giving a shot!“

Pen Ryn Estate Caterers •

“My husband and I got married 03/30/24 at Belle Voir Manor. I cannot praise this venue enough.During the planning process I was nervous about not having a wedding planner as this is the only time I’ve gotten married and didn’t know what was needed. The event managers are ON it and keep you on top of everything with a work list of things to do and vendors to get! They are very responsive to emails and always answer your questions. They were so willing to work with us and so flexible (even with so many last minute changes and additions). And don’t even get me started on the wedding! Colin our Event Manager and Dominic were INCREDIBLE. There was a slight chance of rain and just incase, they set up for a ceremony indoors as well. It started to rain RIGHT when the ceremony was about to start and they quickly brought everyone inside for us to have an indoor ceremony! They were so on top of the schedule and on top of taking care of us, we never had to put a single effort into anything all night. The food was incredible, the venue is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Pen Ryn is truly the most incredible venue.“
