Stopped in during the eclipse & were wonderfully surprised ? it was quite busy and the patrons were so friendly! Service was also friendly & efficient and the food was fresh & delicious! We are sure they bake the bread for the sandwiches tho we didnt ask to confirm.Several patrons shared their eclipse glasses with us and treated us like regulars. I wish we lived closer to there but we will definitely ride up again!Highly recommend ?

We had a gift card from prior to Covid and had never been here before. Today we finally were in Ligonier and decided to use it. We ordered 2 pizzas and waited a half hour for them. Pretty quick timing for wood fired pizza. When they came out we gave the waitress our 30 dollar gift card and a credit card to cover the rest. She went to the back and we could hear her say the gift wouldn't read on the new machine. I missed what the response was to this. The girl came out and said it was too old and they couldn't honor it. There was 30 dollars on that card with no expiration on the card. When asked if there was anything they could do they said no to just throw the card away. We wouldn't have visited without the gift card and yes maybe we should have had the card checked first. However I have never run into this ever at any establishment before and have just waisted $30 by throwing the gift card in their trash can. Probably will not be back.Parking: Does have a free parking lot but it is limited and hard to get in and out of.

Food is great! But if you want to eat, get there AT LEAST 2 hours before they close, as they won't serve you if not. I have been told 4 times now (during their opening hours) that their kitchen is closed, so went elsewhere. Its not like this has happened only one time, but 4 times. So always have a back up plan to get food elsewhere.
Came here for dinner with husband and two kids. Had a buffalo chicken salad, which was amazing! Kids had chicken and fries which they LOVED and ate every bite of. Husband had a Cuban and fries which he also loved! Waitress was laid back, personable, and super on top of things. Right off of a busy road, but do not let the location deter you. When we pulled up, we thought there would be a huge wait due to all of the cars parked there, but didn't realize there is a bar side and a restaurant side. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in an were able to be sit down and order straight away. Only waited about 10 minutes for our appetizer and about 10 more for our food to come. The fried green beans and fried pickles app was delicious too and the Wasabi ranch it came with was our favorite part of the whole meal. I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Definitely would come back here if we come back to the area and would recommend to anyone traveling to this area in the future.Kid-friendliness: Ours are 5 and 9 and . Waitress even brought our boys out some crayons

This is a great restaurant in the little burg or Ligonier PA, just down from the Idlewild Story Amuzement park. The food is great American classics with even better service. You won't go away hungry or unhappy, but be warned, parking can be tricky.
