I cannot fathom how anyone can like the crust on this pizza. It has the consistency of cardboard, no flavor and the one we were served was not even hot or even warm. We should have returned it but truthfully we just wanted to finish the piece and go. We didn’t even take the rest home it was seriously that bad. They only were serving pizza this evening so I am hoping the other items on the menu are the recipes that have been handed down through the generations and are delicious....read full review
LET ME TELL YOU... the other night we stopped after my daughter softball game. I had their pizza during one of their festivals but living 45 mins away never got to eat there. I was SO delighted when the lady (im sadden i didnt get her name) said she would still serve us even tho it was almost 730 and apparent full house. We have been reliable, regular customers for a long time at this restaurant. We live AN HOUR away but we still take the time to go there. We checked the website before leaving to go yesterday and the specials were all the same as expected. So we drove the hour to go there, only to find a note taped to the door indicating that ALL food was 'take-out only' until 3:00 PM. WHY WAS THERE NOTHING NOTED ON THE WEBSITE WHEN WE CHECKED?
