“Bert and The Elephant has great service, but the vibe is what really makes it special. It truly feels like you’re in Belgium! The food and drinks are amazing, and to top it off, I also found out that Bert’s and my family are from the same neighboring town on an island. Then to make it better me and him were born in the same town in a whole different country across the world, such a small world. Bert is a great guy, but his explanation about the beers, the technique behind the foam and how to enjoy it was mind blowing!! Jess was soooo good as well! Can’t wait to come back!“
“Having to deal with purchasing and transporting all of the alcohol for our reception was something I did not want to have to worry about on our wedding day. I am so glad we chose to use the beverage logistics package through The Traveling Tap. It saved us so much time, stress, and vehicle space. Their service is invaluable! During the planning process we mostly communicated with Amber and Cassidy who were always so kind, prompt, and knowledgeable. When we had changes or questions, we heard back right away with clear responses. We had plenty of alcohol delivered for our guests on our wedding day. The hotel delivery at the end of the night as well as the returns/reimbursement process was easy and fast too. We are so pleased with our decision to use The Traveling Tap and would recommend their services to anyone having a wedding or event!“

“We had one of the most wonderful dining experience at Vecu restaurant ( used to be known as Bistro Barbaret). Chef Kevin is a young, promising chef with a great potential!! The service was superb!! Meridith, the maître de is absolutely the best show in town!!! Very knowledgeable, experienced and personal. This place will not be the same without him!! Can’t wait to be back there for another delightful dining experience. On the way out we couldn’t avoid the little European pastry shop. We are very well traveled European couple and we must say, these are by far one of the best pastries in the US, if not the top!!! Look for delightful Jamie behind the counter:) This the closest you can get to a true French dining experience.🗼“

“Hello and good afternoon!! I was just in and ordered and picked up a Cheese pizza and a Pepperoni pizza. A friend of mine of many years said it’s the best in the area, my wife and I just moved back from Florida and they don’t make very pizza down there.😊 Anyway, your pizza is AWESOME, TASTY and just very very delicious and great!!!! Great crust, love the sauce, curled up pepperoni!!! I loved it and I know my wife will too!!!!!😊❤️🍕🍕🍕❤️😊 The young lady bartender was very nice and personable and the young man that made my pizzas also was very very nice and polite!!!! GREAT experience, we will definitely be back and I will promote you where I work, great looking menu too!!! Can’t wait to try your crab cake!!! 1 to 5 , I give today a 10!!! Thank you!!!! “Spring/summer/early fall Friday night live band nights are always fun. Recently discovered the Birds Nest Deck to watch the Eagles games and I won’t watch them anywhere else now. I believe there has been a change of ownership since the past (2021) and I definitely think they are moving in the right direction.“

“The straight rye whiskey is An exceptional product and deserves to be in library of congress. Complex flavors without any bite even at 107 proof.
Highly recommended you”ll be glade you bought it but might want to buy two bottles as first one is going to be gone in a flash.
Just bought 6 bottles on line and will be treating my friends and family to more of their products.
