The Wayside is a great restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and Jake is an excellent chef. My ribeye was cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was cozy! The owners were so friendly and made the experience so much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the wayside to anyone in the area!
We had a great dinner with visiting family. Our table of 8 was excellently served good drinks and appetizers very timely allowing great time for conversation. The main course was excellent and even though we were full we ordered delicious desserts. Personally my Sea Bass was perfectly prepared and delicious. And the sauce on the water chestnuts delicious, so much better than the traditional bbq sauce.

The friendly owners and staff provide great service, making guests feel welcome. The unique atmosphere in an old style house adds to the experience, along with a recently redone bar. Fresh food from local suppliers and passionate owners make this a must-try eatery. Visitors often find the meals so good that they come back for seconds, praising the salmon with crab and horseradish sauce, salmon Wellington stuffed with spinach, crab cake, and seafood bake. The restaurant also serves garden salads with fantastic dressings, filet mignon au poivre, and a carrot cake that many find irresistible. The smoked Old Fashioned is highly recommended for drinks.
