“In Pennsylvania the place is GREAT! For $100 we got giant Hawaii pizza, 2 giant Stromboli, a chocolate musse, pasta, a Caesar salad, plus two small salads. “The Pizza Place is not only one of the best pizza places that I have tried, it has the best customer service that I have seen in the area. My wife and I were married at Mountain Valley Golf Course and wanted to have pizza delivered to our guests following the wedding. The owner, John, was extremely helpful as he delivered our pizza after being closed and even stayed to make sure our pizza was hot. The pizza was phenomenal. The plain, sweet sauce, pickle pizza, Buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch were all fresh and delicious. Our guests RAVED about the pizza and continuously asked us where we got it from. Additionally, the cheesy bread sticks and bread sticks were great. John and The Pizza Place truly care about their customers and their pizza is clearly made with the freshest ingredients. “The only thing better than the fantastic service at Palermo's is the food. The lobster bisque & lobster ravioli are absolutely DIVINE. Bartenders Marshall & Patty are absolute rockstars & truly make you feel like a longtime friend. The chef(s) responsible for my food deserve a forehead kiss. Whether you want to treat yourself to a nice dinner like I did or have a get-together with loved ones over fabulous food & drink, Palermo's is the perfect option, every time. We were in the area visiting yuengling brewery and looking for somewhere quick to eat and Roma was the first on the list so we figured why not. We're so glad we stopped. The pizza was fantastic! “You don't have to go to Hazleton, Reading or Wilkes Barre to experience fantastic food. Its right here in Frackville. Where else can you go where the food is prepared by the owner himself and doing it for many years. All the food is authentically Italian with that "Taste of Italy". The wife’s owner will greet you each and every time and make your luncheon and dining experience a very pleasant one. You will not be dissappointed!!“

“Everyone has their own experience I guess judging by other comments, but my fiancé and I started getting from here more often and haven’t seen or experienced anything negative or off-putting. Cheesesteaks and hoagies are the go to, fries are great, everything tastes amazing. People are friendly, always nice. The only downside is that it is a little pricey, so I cant really justify getting it as much as I’d like to. I was going to add pics of the food but it’s already eaten so maybe next time if I remember“

“There isn't an atmosphere. Bummer really. Remember when reading was a thing and you got stickers and a pin for book it and your own personal deep dish for reading at school!! I remember! When pizza hut wasn't this small single room factory where it feels so sterile.

You guys had a cool thing there, kids that didn't have a lot of money, encouraged to read at a public school and they could literally earn a meal. Kids shouldn't be hungry obviously, but still reading and earning that's a win-win.
For those that had the money, it was still a reward to go and get your own pizza!
