“The wedge salad, sliders - bith kjnds, & soups were good. The bedt salad was huge with greens- almost too much. The mushroom soup was ok, not the best, a bit too thickened with cornstarch or flour and not served hot enough. Our group of 5 on our way to Wharton-Esherick house all enjoyed our lunch“

“I used to get takeout from here at least once or twice a month for their delicious gf pancakes. I moved away a year or so back, and was in town this weekend.
Came in to sit down for breakfast, our server was amazing and the restaurant still had a good cute vibe per usual.
However the gf pancakes were different, very different. They still tasted somewhat similar but they were flat, dry and grainy. I was so disappointed. I couldn’t tell if the recipe had changed or if they were just made improperly.

They used to be so thick and fluffy and just overall amazing.
If somebody from management/ ownership sees this, you should bring the old recipe back/ do some better quality control. They were truly special, and prob the best gf pancakes I have had to date. I’d be happy to pay more to get those thick fluffy pancakes once again.
Even thought I don’t live here anymore, I always looked forward to nudys gf pancakes when I was visiting.

“I've been here tons of times and a couple times have had a few issues, always rectified though. Yes it's really busy at lunch time. I just got back from having breakfast there with my 9 month old and the lady who served us was fantastic. Wish I caught her name. Not only did she see I had my hands full so she brought everything to my table for me but she also realized I left my latte when I was leaving and ran it out to me as I was getting in my car. Great customer service today from this lady!“

“Today we ordered lunch for two people, the drive thru line went quickly, the food was hot, the drinks were cold. There was one (yes! one!!!) napkin in the bag.

Is there a napkin shortage? Should we bring our own napkins next time? Should we shut up and wipe our mouths and hands on our clothes?

“WC has over sixty restaurants and Spence Cafe is our favorite of all. Intimate dining experience with always excellent menu options prepared by Andrew Patton, owner/chef, who's one of the best in the county. When the weather is nice, their backyard patio is lovely. And BYOB to boot!“

“Came here for dinner on 10Sep2024 around 7pm or so. Very clean and spacious; food was decent. And free WiFi!

The bathrooms were very clean as well.

My only complaints:

- The soup seems over priced at almost $8 for a medium, but I guess that's inflation for you.
- Staff were a little a bit aloof; I would've been more inclined to tip if they had been a little friendlier.
- Many of the ingredients were mixed together, and I got plenty of olives in my buffalo blue salad as a surprise (didn't bother me; would definitely bother some).

Overall though I would recommend and I would come here again.“

“Stumbled upon this place on a date night with my husband. Wanted a slice on the go and we came back because I loved the pizza here. Very good and decent prices. $16 for a large pie. Cheese sauce ratio is perfect. We order well done for the crisp/crunch factor and never disappoints“

“I went to this location on Thursday 7/17/2025 and the manager on duty, Virginia, was nothing short of amazing and perfection. I had ordered the Asian Crispy Chicken Salad for lunch online and they forgot my chicken! I couldn't go back at the time, but called the store and they told me I could come in and grab the chicken at my convenience. Well, once I got there, Virginia asked her crew to make me a brand new salad AND let me keep the old one. She basically said they couldn't allow me to leave without a whole new one for the inconvenience of having to go back. Her crew did such a good job on the salad! “The variety of food and service at Poke It Up was very good. Honestly wish I'd tried it sooner! There are different varieties of poke bowls to select from or you can make your own. The fish was very fresh and came with a healthy portion of rice. The veggies and sauce complimented the meal and the serving size (for me) was quite large so easily came for two meals. “Excellent food whenever I go. Everything seems fresh. I had turkey club which had great turkey and was fresh, the turkey seemed not to be cold cuts and wet, but more like real turkey. The fries are decent but most likely frozen so nothing special I'd get again.

The chicken tenders are good but too much breading in my opinion.

“V.I.P. Pizza is the best around. I stopped in for slice and a Coke this afternoon, and I was telling the owner that the pizza sauce that they have is perfect, sweet and flavorful. Add to that the excellent crust, mozzarella, and spices, and this place has a great product!

Oh, and my fiancé says there calzones are the best made too. She says the crust is 'pillowy' and perfectly golden.“

“This is a great local spot to enjoy good food, great friends and amazing ambiance. We tried their breakfast, apple cake French toast and regular French toast and both were sweet, filling and flavorful. The service was great as busy as it was.
