“We enjoyed my daughter’s 9th birthday party at Jess’ bakery. Everything went off so smoothly and I was able to enjoy the time with my kid and her friends while Jess ran the show. Jess is incredibly welcoming and professional. Not only did everyone enjoy learning new decorating skills, we also enjoyed cupcakes Jess made for celebrating that were delicious! I highly recommend hosting a party with Jess. Or at the very least, check out her delicious creations!”

“Excellent food and service, have to plan ahead to dine inside due to the space limitations at peak dinner time. Atmosphere is relaxed, but at peak times/ they still offer excellent take out service . The meat balls are amazing!, both traditional and sicilian pizza were equally great. Can't wait to try a specialty pizza, and sandwich options which have a taste for everyone. A definite must try!”

“I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.”

“Stopped here after Steel City Con for lunch. I grew up on the VA/NC border, and I’m used to having good BBQ. No doubt, Big Rig might be the best barbecue I’ve ever had anywhere. I was in a group of four big dudes, and everyone loved their various dishes and the portions are huge. Great service, great food. 100% will be back again.”

“We do not have an Indian restaurant where I live. It is my favorite cuisine. I have driven to Monroeville more times than I can count to satisfy my family’s Indian cravings (yes even my 7 year old loves Indian food). I can say without a doubt this is the best I have tried in the Pittsburgh area. The freshness and quality is so amazing. The owner is very personable and service is great. I will go no where else but this place going forward. So happy a decided to stop on a whim!”

“White Rabbit Cafe is my favorite place to enjoy a sweet treat & a glass of horchata. I love the vibe here & the delicious selection of freshly baked cookies, shortbread, muffins, brownies, cheesecakes, biscotti, & creme brulee. There is so much to choose from & everything is reasonably priced. Always clean & tidy with a relaxing environment. Tommy ( the owner) is friendly & I used to see him all of the time but now he is rarely there when I stop in. I miss his smiling face. If you haven't been here all I can say is....what are you waiting for?”

“I stopped by Brave Bean on North Shore recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it was way too strong for my taste. There was so much chai and not enough milk that it threw off the balance—it came out way too spicy and intense to enjoy. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what I expected. It had more of a cafeteria vibe and felt kind of empty—maybe I just came at a quiet time, but I was the only person there. That said, the barista was very kind and friendly, which definitely helped brighten the visit. Also, they have a wide selection of drinks, almost like a smaller, local version of Starbucks—which could be a plus if you’re into variety.”

“It was a very nice experience from the time we walked in. It wasn't busy so we got seated and waited on promptly. The waitress was awesome! She was friendly and helpful answering our questions about certain menu items and refilling our drinks in a timely manner. The food was phenomenal!! I just got a hamburger which was delicious but my husband got a full rack of ribs! Those ribs were the best I think I have ever tasted! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! “If you are looking for a wow factor at your next event, hire Moio’s for a live cannoli station! It was a huge hit at our wedding! The fresh cannolis were out of this world. We ordered almond macaroons as well as a few other cookies for our cookie table too. Everything was incredible! Moio’s will always be one of our favorite bakeries.”

“I usually love eating here and understand that it gets very busy. However, they do not run reservations well. I checked in 30 minutes after making my reservation. My quoted time was 40 to 55 minutes. We waited an additional 30 to be told that I wasn't checked in properly. Waited a total of an hour and 20 minutes and still was not seated.”

“I think the ice cream was great. Tried the maple walnut. Apple dumpling not so much. The bottom was very undercooked, and when reheated, it wasn't very warm. I recommend at least slicing the apple open, so it folds like an onion. This way, the bottom of the dough will have a chance to cook. And more of the liquid from the apples and whatever else they put inside, some people put butter, we'll have a chance to cook out. Or when cooking the apple dumpling, cook it upside down for about ten fifteen minutes and then flip it back over to finish cooking the rest of the way. The top part of the dumpling in the apple was delicious. It was soft enough to use a plastic spoon to cut, but still crunchy At the same time.”
