“We enjoyed my daughter’s 9th birthday party at Jess’ bakery. Everything went off so smoothly and I was able to enjoy the time with my kid and her friends while Jess ran the show. Jess is incredibly welcoming and professional. Not only did everyone enjoy learning new decorating skills, we also enjoyed cupcakes Jess made for celebrating that were delicious! I highly recommend hosting a party with Jess. Or at the very least, check out her delicious creations!“

“My goal was to find the most delicious donuts to act as the bottom tiers of my wedding cake and I definitely did that the day I walked into the Donut Chef! I also ordered my cake from them but was not able to sample it as I didn’t have an appointment and I was running short on time. Wow! Is all I can say! Our photographer was laughing at us saying she’s never seen a couple eat an entire slice of cake at the cake cutting or fight over the last bite lol! Everything was so delicious and people are still asking where I got them a month later. They also made me the cutest little cake for one of my bridesmaids since it was her birthday. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Went here because my daughter had been seeing a bunch of ads for it on social media and I had never heard of it so we figured let's go try.

In terms of ordering experience it's pretty straight forward as you place your order on one of two computers they have and then step aside and wait for your name to be called.

In regards to the space itself it was bright and pleasing to look at and clean.

Let's talk about the cookies, now taste is of course subjective but I found the cookies to taste good, not the best I have ever had but pretty good.

Now the following is going to again be subjective but to me the cookies are too under done, my kids liked that raw cookie dough feeling and texture but I would have liked them to have been a bit more firm. I had thought it was because they were fresh that they were so soft but even after a few hours at home to cool the cookies where still very much undercooked and infact my one definitely had some raw dough in the middle. My wife and kids through loved this fact so again this might be amazing if you like a cookie like that or it might be a turn off if you like a done and crumbly cookie.

Your paying for the hype and agressive marketing this company does, a dozen was nearly $50 dollars and they are not worth that to me, again subjective, but I have had better cookies at a local famous bakery in Oakmont for significantly less and with equal/better quality.

Honestly this place reminds me of when Krispy Cream came to town and the experience of getting a hot and fresh donut was new and exciting but after a while you came to realize that while it was a good donut it was not anything special and this place feels the same but with cookies.“

“We requested a giant cinnamon roll cake and I reached out to the bakery to see if they could make one. They took to their test kitchen and tried their hand at the recipe twice, trying to perfect it. I was so amazed. I didn’t expect them to go to this length to try to accommodate my request. Once they mastered it, they let me know I could order it. I was beyond happy. It was beautiful and delicious. And my entire party raved about it. We also ordered cupcakes and specialty cookies. What a great batch of desserts. We’ve ordered from Grandma’s before and they have always delivered quality baked goods with beautiful designs. I highly recommend them.“

“We ordered an extra large birthday cake and it was delicious. So fresh and tasty! There was a thick middle of butter cream icing and whipped cream icing outside. Everybody commented on the cake and asked where it was made. The staff were very helpful, both when I ordered and when I picked it up. “We tried Dosa Cupcakes for the first time and we are so happy we did! The cupcakes were beautiful as well as delicious and not too sweet! We tried the blueberry lemon, the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry pretzel salad cupcake (great for sweet and salty)…all 3 fantastic! We also tried the shortbread dippers too..so good! I wish we took pictures of our goodies but we ate them too fast!! Also what a friendly couple running this business! Always outgoing and willing to spend time describing their cupcakes to customers with a smile. Also come to find out they have a store front too in Pitcairn and they do much more than just cupcakes. When you see them out and about…. Definitely give them a try!“

“Cakes by Colby made what seemed like a difficult choice a super easy one! From moment one walking in the door, you could see the artistry in her work and where her specialties lay. The tasting was a delight, and if anything we ate waaaaay too much while were there, but it was all so incredibly good! Fast forward to the wedding day, everything went off without a hitch and the cake was absolutely gorgeous! She took reference images we provided and went above and beyond, it was elegant without being pretentious and truly lovely on top of being delicious as well. Our guests raved about it too. “We have always gotten our special occasion cakes here. They have always been decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. Just recently, our kids got my retirement cake here. It was moist and tasted wonderful, but the decorating was disappointing. Icing colors were dark and the writing left much to be desired. Icing flowers weren't that great.They used to have a lady that wrote in calligraphy and the cakes were decorated so beautifully, that you didn't want to cut it!! They used to decorate with the most beautiful flowers and ask you what kind you wanted on the cake. We were disappointed with the decorated part...not the taste of the cake.“

“Biscotti Brothers make delicious biscotti. I thought I would be able to go straight to the bakery to buy various flavors of multiple biscotti. It's impossible to find all the various flavors they make at different grocery stores. My new favorite is pumpkin pecan biscottini. However, I discovered the bakery in Greensburg, does not sell to the general public unless you order them online and have them shipped. Which can get alittle expensive. Delallo's in Jeanette sells Biscotti Brothers products under the Delallo brand name, however, they have only a fraction of the flavors available.“
