“We have always gotten our special occasion cakes here. They have always been decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. Just recently, our kids got my retirement cake here. It was moist and tasted wonderful, but the decorating was disappointing. Icing colors were dark and the writing left much to be desired. Icing flowers weren't that great.They used to have a lady that wrote in calligraphy and the cakes were decorated so beautifully, that you didn't want to cut it!! They used to decorate with the most beautiful flowers and ask you what kind you wanted on the cake. We were disappointed with the decorated part...not the taste of the cake.“

“Today, I participated in the introduction Sourdough101 baking class at Third Space Bakery even though I don’t have any prior bread making experience. It was truly an awesome experience that I will never forget. Nick Webster and Beth Taylor and Doug Heilman were exceptional teachers and worked closely with me to make sure I understood and followed along with the class. Nick took the time to answer my questions during class and even took the time to talk to me after class. He also wrote a simple explanation on why I do so well with Third Space Vegan Sourdough bread compared to other sourdough breads I’ve tried in the past. When I emailed Nick asking for him to convert the recipes and text to an alternative format that I’m able to read without any problems.
The Hibiscus sparking water was refreshing and paired up beautifully with the vegan sourdough, nuts and dried apricot. I have no idea what olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar Beth mixed together however it was truly the best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to tell all my friends and family about this awesome class. I can’t wait to come back to advanced sourdough class that’s coming up.“

“I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.“

“Stopped here on a whim while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking to grab a coffee and pastry and found this place close to where we were headed. Let me tell you. I would come here every day!! Delicious. We had an almond croissant, hazelnut croissant and brought some bread home. Just slices the olive loaf. I cannot explain how delicious it is. Keep doing a great job. We will be back when we visit the city again!!“

“Had a macaron tower at my event this past weekend! Gaby et Jules and the macarons was wonderful as usual. The macarons was a perfect addition to the event and everyone loved them! “Absolutely delicious! What made it extra special is that they partner with Robert Morris University. At the start of the semester, RMU sent an email about signing up for their birthday club to possibly win a cake! I feel so lucky, and the owners were such amazing, lovely people. We brought this cake to a friends house for soup cook-off. Although we were voting for our favorite soup, everyone agreed the lemon cake was the true winner - there were no leftovers! Thank you for such delicious desserts, and also for your kindness!“

“I bought the iced caramel macchiato, chocolate croissant, and milk sticky buns. The staff was so kind and friendly, and I could really tell they enjoy working at this bakery. The food was great! The croissant was flaky and buttery, though, there was only a sliver of chocolate inside. It was mostly plain croissant, but honestly, I didn’t mind! The sticky buns were delicious, it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be, so I genuinely enjoyed this treat. The latte was great for the price; it was $5 for the small, but the small size is plenty. At Starbucks it is usually 4-5 dollars for the tall caramel macchiato, but the size is significantly smaller. I would say even though it’s not too expensive, it’s also probably not the best coffee in the city. The taste was pretty average. Additionally, the coffee is not very strong in this macchiato. If you have tried the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso from Starbucks, the strength of coffee on both of these is very similar (though I would say the shaken espresso is a little stronger). Overall this spot was a great visit and I look forward to coming here again!“

“We tried Dosa Cupcakes for the first time and we are so happy we did! The cupcakes were beautiful as well as delicious and not too sweet! We tried the blueberry lemon, the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry pretzel salad cupcake (great for sweet and salty)…all 3 fantastic! We also tried the shortbread dippers too..so good! I wish we took pictures of our goodies but we ate them too fast!! Also what a friendly couple running this business! Always outgoing and willing to spend time describing their cupcakes to customers with a smile. Also come to find out they have a store front too in Pitcairn and they do much more than just cupcakes. When you see them out and about…. Definitely give them a try!“

“Sambols made us these wonderful baby animal shaped cookies for our baby shower that were decorated so delicately and each had a little pink bow! They were so tasty too! They also made delicious Lady Locks with pink filling, chocolate covered oreos with pink stripes, mini cupcakes with wonderfully colored icing and thumbprint cookies decorated with pink and white jimmies and filled with pink and white swirl icing. EVERYTHING was amazing and very professionally done. Thank you so much!!“

“Food Glorious Food is a local business that makes baked goods and also foods for breakfast, lunch, and catering such as sandwiches and pizzas. I shopped here one time. I really liked the derby pie, the pecan pie, the snickerdoodle cookie, and the cinnamon roll. I thought that the sour-cream apple pie and the asparagus-Swiss quiche were alright.“

“My daughter’s Girl Scout troop was part of the Christmas parade in town this past holiday. Ever since walking around tow and seeing the shops I wanted to go back. Today I woke up and told my wife, “let’s get some homemade donuts.” I’m so glad we stopped in. Using words like fantastic, amazing, delicious is an understatement. They literally don’t do it justice. And John the owner/manager heard that and just wanted to pay it forward to me for Thanksgiving and offered me one of their small cakes for free. That was so beyond genuine of him.
