He walked me to where they had a couple options. He then partnered with his team to get them personalized in minutes. This store and team were great.“

“A few places I frequent are partnered with Panaderia Jazmin, and when I was in the vicinity of this bakery, I had to stop.All the pastries are kept in a self-serve display case. You grab a tray and tongs at the door, and then you fill up your tray with the pastries you want to take home. You hand the tray over at the register, and they package them up for you.I loved all of the items I went home with, and I look forward to stopping there again.“

“I have eaten in this little Eatery several times before. However, that was in a past life for me. The food there is amazing the service is exceptional and just everything about the ambience is inviting.This time however I walked in while waiting for a bus, becausw it was chilly outside. I got to talking to what seemed like the manager or maybe the owner, explaining to him that I was just waiting on a bus and if asked if he minded that I waited inside and I really didn't have any money? He didn't mind at all and as a matter of fact he gave me a cup of coffee with a smile and it's a great cup of coffee too! So really I just want to give a shout out to this restaurant and if you ever have a chance to stop and eat there you might spend a couple extra dollars, but you won't walk away to dissatisfied.“

“Awesome bakery with lots of unique and delicious items! They aren’t just a bakery with sweet treats, but also serve boba, dumplings, and some sort of shaved ice I believe. It’s an awesome place. I tried the egg tarts, cream puffs, and crispy pineapple buns.The egg tarts were quite tasty. Not too strong of a flavor and relatively light, for an egg tart. They are small and perfect for a quick dessert. Nothing too crazy, but simple and tasty.The pineapple bun unfortunately didn’t have any real pieces of pineapple on it. But, it was still very good. The dough itself is very soft, fluffy, and airy. It is not heavy by any means. The top is crispy and sugary, but the bun itself doesn’t have a ton of flavor. There’s something in the middle but it’s not too discernible. Still, quite tasty.Finally, the cream puff. This was huge and delicious! It was filled with tons of cream, which was surprisingly not too sweet, and more buttery, almost. The dough is also tasty, similar to that of the bun. I’d highly recommend this.All in all, this is an amazing bakery in Mt. Lebo, and one of the few Asian bakeries near the city. Great menu, solid prices, lots of variety. Homemade baked goods - my wife loves their English muffins - used in their breakfast sandwiches and available for separate purchase. Sandwiches are huge. Get to Mt Oliver before summer 24 when they relocate to New Brighton. You won't be disappointed.“

“*Come here for the BEST vegan cinnamon rolls EVER* While in Pittsburgh for vacation, we learned about this all vegan bakery! WOW! So glad we stopped in for a morning treat! Beautiful store front with the sweetest ladies- we were welcomed by soooo many (all vegan!) goodies! We got a massive choco chip cookie & cinnamon roll to go! The cookie was massive, still hot from the morning baking, melty, doughy & delicious!The cinnamon roll was legit the BEST I’ve ever had! Mind blown! First off, it was huge. It was super doughy in the inside but perfect flake on the outside. Loaded with melted frosting, cinnamon - it was perfect. “Patti's Pasticceria is a family-owned Italian-American bakery. Its menu includes breakfast pastries, cookies, cupcakes, rolls, specialty cakes (e.g., wedding, anniversary, birthday, and graduation), and even non-baked goods such as soups and espresso drinks. Prices are reasonable. For Easter, my family purchased a chocolate cake, a white cake, a strawberry pie, and lady-lock cookies from Patti's. My family members and I thought that these desserts were fresh and tasted good, but we prefer the flavors of desserts from a few other bakeries. I would feel happy to try many of Patti's other desserts, including her cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, apple strudels, cold-dough apricot cookies, s'mores cookies, cheesecake, carrot cake, sfogliatelle, etcetera. Please note that some desserts must be ordered in advance, and catering is available.“

“I had heard very good things about this place, so I decided to stop in and see for myself. The staff was friendly. They had a selection of very upper level cupcakes and slices of assorted cakes. Everything looked super good so I bought a dozen assorted cupcakes and 2 slices of cake. We were very pleased with the quality and taste of the baked goods. I would definately go again. My only suggestion is that every item is ala carte which ended up being a bit pricey. 70 bucks for 12 cupcakes and 2 slices of cake seemed a bit much for me. Maybe a deal on a dozen of 1/2 dozen would be my suggestion. I loved the goods but would definately buy less next time due to price. Still very quality though. Stop in and check it out.“

“We're visiting Pittsburgh and stumbled upon Georgie's during a walk. We came back today for breakfast and it was wonderful. The servers are very friendly. One went above and beyond by moving an additional outdoor heater closer to our table so we could each have one. They're very thoughtful and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend giving Georgie's a visit if you're in town.“

“My partner loves sweets, cookies in particular, and I wanted to find a local bakery to buy some goodies for Valentine’s Day. Was happy to see that this place offers cookie packs with free shipping! I loved the assortment and the specialty Pittsburgh inspired cookies. I’ve never ordered baked goods through the mail before, so I was worried about how they would arrive. However, they were neatly packaged and individually wrapped! And they were still soft. This place also allows you to add a custom message which was added as a sticker on the inside of the box. “The pastries were delicious, the customer service is a different story. We weren't offered any drinks, they assumed we were taking the pastries to go, so they were in a hurry to put them on plates.Once we paid and sat down, we were basically ignored.“

“It's like a little country niche where they offer huge homemade cookies, unique and well-known sandwiches, homemade soups, coffee, locally made goods, and unique gifts. The sandwiches are enough for two meals (at least for us). And they are made fresh when you order. There is one 2-seat table near the door and they don't mind if you eat right there in the shop. Additionally, they have many different strengths of bifocals to borrow so you can read the menu. I love this little shop!Parking: There are not many parking spots in the center, but I've never had a problem finding a space. “Best gluten free bakery I've ever been to!! We are from out of town and I've struggled to find good gluten free things but I stumbled upon baked true north and it's amazing!!!! Chrissy was absolutely wonderful with helping us pick out different things to try and recommending their top sellers. They even have shipping for baked goods so we can get these delicious baked goods back home in Massachusetts!!! The Tarte Au Citron is great if you want something that isn't too sweet - the tart and the lemon combination is delicious. There are also seasonal specials to look forward to. I've also ordered a few cakes from here and the process and pick-up is seamless.“

“A Pittsburgh institution! I've been to the original Oakmont Bakery a few times before, yet this was my first visit to the newer, larger place. It was very impressive, not small and cozy like some of the little family owned bakeries or local chains, but absolutely worth checking out. While I wouldn't normally visit on a busy weekend day, I was in the area and had to stop. And they absolutely have a system down to handle any size crowd! Simply grab a number and they have a number of employees lined up to help you with any size order.I wanted a drink and a few small bakery items, so after scoping out the offerings I headed to the cafe area to order a drink. The self serve computers made it easy to order any of the wide variety of drinks, I chose a s'mores latte. While waiting for it to be made I headed back up to the counters, grabbed a ticket, and eyed an eclair and small chocolate cream pie. Yes, this is a great place for us chocoholics! After no more than a few moments it was already my turn, and I was able to pick my items up.The exterior and interior are very nice and modern, and the bakery is easily accessible in the middle of Oakmont and near the bridge. Parking is limited in front of the building, but plenty more is available behind it across from the park. The large variety of cakes, bagels, cookies, donuts, and seasonal items ensure there is something for everyone. And the large number of workers up front and in the back ensure they don't run out and you can be served quickly. Thanks!“

“Five Points has been my go to weekend treat spot for years. I really cannot recommend this place enough! Things I love: - their chocolate croissant is my #1. Recommend it highly! Perfect every time. Dunk that thing in a cup of coffee to make it even better! - the seasonal danishes are so fun! My faves are pumpkin and rhubarb. - their indoor seating is open now! Cozy with a decent amount of seating, I've never had an issue finding a place to sit either in the back or along the "bar". They have two big bathrooms which is really great too! - service is quick! - so many options, but they always have the favorites available which I love. - I've never ever been disappointed by something I eaten here. It's really all that good. Things I don't like: - literally nothing I can think of. I think the prices are totally worth it for the high quality food you're getting. The food and drink are consistently delicious. The staff is friendly and fast. Things to note: - there is almost always a line out the door on a weekend morning. Don't let this deter you! Let it draw you in! It's worth the wait and the line moves fast. - they have sandwiches on Saturdays until they run out. If you're looking for a sammie don't go too late in the day lest they run out!“

“A friend had taken me here a couple week ls ago and I had one of the best dinner experiences I have in Pittsburgh. I love dinner and everywhere I go for travel I try a dinner. This is one on the best ones I’ve tried. Great service and the food was delicious with a reasonable price. My buddy had the breakfast pierogies with kielbasa. It looked amazing and if I go back, I’m trying those. I ended up getting the Brother Tom’s breakfast plate. And when I received this French toast, I was absolutely amazed! Bread was made in house, and it was nice fluffy and flavorful. Hands down the best French toast I had a very long time.“

It had nice, crispy edges full of sweet, but not too sweet, coffee flavor. The inside was soft and had hints of coffee as well. Overall, very good! And good portion for the price.The twisted donut reminded me of just a regular donut sprinkled with sugar. It wasn’t anything too special or extraordinary, but it was well made. The inside was soft, and it was very sweet.The plain buttercream bread was surprisingly not that sweet! The buttercream is quite rich and creamy. I will say, I would have liked a bit more of it, as the bread really dominated the flavor here. Still, great.I was a tad bit disappointed with the condensed milk loaf, but it was still great. I was expecting a bit more milky flavor and sweetness, but the hints of condensed milk are very light. The bread is still soft and fluffy, and a solid deal for the price.All in all, I really enjoyed this place. The desserts were all high quality and pretty fairly priced in my opinion. This place is a 50 minute drive from our home but their ability to make cakes beautifully, combined with how absolutely delicious it always is, totally makes it worth the drive. “We had Bethel Bakery make our wedding cake, and we couldn't have been happier with the service. Their at home tasting option was the nicest that we tried, the person who did our online consultation was great to work with, and everything was delicious!Unfortunately, we did have an issue with the cake itself. It arrived...basically in pieces. The delivery driver was in tears. Thankfully, our coordinator was able to largely salvage it, and Bethel Bakery, to their credit, could not have handled the mistake any better. They assured us that the cake and delivery charge would be free, and immediately followed up with an email the first thing the next morning, telling us to give them a call whenever it was convenient for us.When we called they were VERY apologetic, offered to make us a free anniversary cake, and even said they could decorate a fake cake, take it to our venue the next time they were there, and get pictures for us so that we could see what it should have looked like. We declined the fake cake photoshoot, but we were very impressed by the offer.Sometimes, accidents happen. What makes all the difference is how the company addresses the mistake. Bethel Bakery immediately took responsibility, and then went above and beyond to try to make things right. We truly appreciated their dedication to customer satisfaction, and we would not hesitate to use again for future cakes.“
