“Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.“

“This restaurant is Excellent in Every category! I have Never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The food is just as great as the view overlooking the golf course. There is plenty of seating, a large game room and many options! The bathrooms are clean and the waiters and waitresses are excellent! Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could knock this place. In my book it is Top Notch on all levels!“

They hold fundraiser to help with if a regular that everyone knew has passed they will have fundraiser to help the family with expenses or with medical needs and can't afford it.If you don't like loud music from great bands or smoking this isnt the place for you but if you dont mind it. “This place is so underrated. I don't get it, the parking lot is practically empty all the time but this place is legit the best restaurant in the area. The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“Came here for my nieces first communion I got the 16 oz NY strip it was delicious very flavorful and the garlic mash was to die for. Only thing I would change is the chairs outside but it’s about the food not what you sit on. I rate this experience 9.7/10“

We always get the same thing, my husband gets a large pepperoni pizza and I get a cheesesteak hoagie. We always think maybe we will try something else but we end up getting our usual because we love it. Always friendly service and don't mind waiting a little longer for the pizza.“

“My neighbor took me here, it's my first time eating here. We had the potato skins with seafood, & I had the mini salad, crabcake & fries. There were so many items on the menu, I couldn't decide, especially after viewing the photos on Facebook. Our waitress was VERY busy, it took a little while for service, but worth the wait! “I work for Able-services and today my group had a lunch outing. Upon our arrival we were greeted and sat right a way. Lauren was our server and she was great with my participants helping and talking them through what the cost of their meals would be before tax and tips, so they could stay within their allotted budget. She was very attentive to us making sure we had everything we needed and upon paying she made sure to have separate bills for each of us, giving 1:1 attention to each one as we paid. So a Big Thank You to Lauren for myself and Able-services today.“
