“Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.“

“We went there yesterday evening after a bike ride on the trail and decided to grab some food from here for the first time. We had their ice cream before and it was good! We got some dinner food also this time and it was so good!! We loved how the inside looked! And it was so cute when the server came out with my son’s dinner, it was in a vintage looking car food box! My son loved it. My husband and I also played a little game of uno while we waited that they had on the table. The staff there were really friendly and helpful! Our experience there was really good! Highly recommend eating here or just stopping by for some ice cream!!“

“This restaurant is Excellent in Every category! I have Never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The food is just as great as the view overlooking the golf course. There is plenty of seating, a large game room and many options! The bathrooms are clean and the waiters and waitresses are excellent! Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could knock this place. In my book it is Top Notch on all levels!“

We arrived just before closing (we know, everyone hates that) but employee Chris went above and beyond helping us out. “I was in the area and stopped by this little restaurant. The young man at the counter was very respectful and VERY busy as the phone kept ringing. I ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger. You might say anyone can make that. I will strongly disagree. It was juicy, and the bacon was delicious and I say this because I have, and don't me how, had bacon cheeseburgers where the bacon was totally tasteless. It is obvious they use quality products. My friend that was with me had a sub of some kind that she really enjoyed but I cannot give you details. Oh yeah. I'm picky about my Pepsi. I hate when soda out of fountain has a wonky mix and the CO2 is too much. Their Pepsi was delicious. Now I'm hungry. I wish they weren't an hour away from me.

“I had a great experience. This was actually my first time visiting a McDonald’s in probably close to a year. I was just feeling a medium fry, a McDouble, and a frozen Coke. Everyone was really cool. They all said hi to my dog. The food was hot. I have no complaints.“
