“My new ice cream shop for sure. Third time the charm for catching it open and we'll worth the wait....
My favorite ice cream of all time for over 45 years is mint chocolate chip ..I will judge an entire dairy based on one little taste of my favorite ...as you can see from the size of the scoop , I had many many little tastes and enjoyed every single one of them....smooth, creamy perfectly minty with just the right amount of chocolate! As you can also see, Shasta , my service wahwah enjoyed the heck out of her complimentary pupcup with two teeny weeny milk bone sprinkles!
Such a lovely chill spot and the color changing spoon amused me.

“We were in the area visiting Lackawanna State Park. On a super hot day of hiking we decided to google ice cream in the area which brought us to Mannings. I got the Raspberry chocolate truffle - the absolute best ice cream I have ever eaten. Loved seeing the pictures and reading the story of the history and the process of the this family run business. We drive RT 81 a few times a year and we will be getting off the exit to have a break and get a cone. 😋“

“I had bought some cookies for a gift. I put the order in online and told to pick up at a certain time. First i showed up right on time thinking they would be good to go. This was the first time I tried them. They were not ready when I got there. I was in a rush so that turned me off immediately. The cookies look beautiful and are designed pretty nice. For me. I am more of a simple cookie person. You put chocolate chips in and I'm good. However if you like that sort of thing I would say go for it. Just be prepared to wait a few extra minutes if you order online. It wouldn't be fair of me to say that all the frosting and extras aren't for me because most people like that.“

They had amazing ice cream, Perry's, for all these years now this year it's definitely a different brand, probably Hersheys which is a little bland in my opinion. It is not their fault that I don't prefer Hersheys. Unless I am confused it's ok in a pinch. The sprinkles also seem to be not the best brand either. I asked for layered and extra extra extra, they don't do this quite as well as every other place. Maybe it's a good thing considering.“
