“We pass this place all the time, but had never been. So, we checked it out for my birthday one night.. service is kinda slow, but she was doing her best, super friendly.. quite a few pool tables, they had a DJ and kerioke, we didn't get home until like 3:30am lol, it was a pretty good night.”

“We really wanted to like the food at this place but, to be honest, we were very disappointed. We were really hoping for real, honest to goodness gyros. Ones made in a mom and pop type shop, thinly sliced off of a vertical, flame throwing grill. Same with the perogi', which were boiled to the point of just plain old mushy. The young lady taking our order was very pleasant and earned most of the stars you see above. I can appreciate the gallant attempt at bringing new food stuff to the area, but if you are going to do that, make it authentic. We see no reason to return.”

“Best place in town, I travel a lot and visit local diners every chance I get. Kacie's is by far my favorite from Maine to Arizona. Even beats my hometown favorite! And try a cupcake!!! DELICIOUS!”

“Love this restaurant. Located in an old train station which gives it a cool vibe. Food was fantastic! I started with the wedding soup which was one of the best I ever had- so good. For my meal I ordered the grilled chicken palermo which had grilled chicken, banana peppers, hot sausage, sundried tomatoes, olive oil and garlic served with linguine- it was excellent. We were a table of four and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The only reason I gave service 4 stars instead of 5 was because they asked us or rather they told us they needed our table and needed to wrap things up. I understand they were busy but as good paying customers its kinda of rude to be ask to leave while we were enjoying our time together. I have never experienced a request like that before but even so I would eat here again.”

“Watson Estate BnB & Deer Creek Winery was amazing! Between the food, staff/service, room, wine, views, etc. it was a beautiful experience! This was our first time at a BnB, so we did not know what to expect. To say the least, this place far exceeded our expectations! We loved the scenery and vibes that the courtyard and wrap around porch brought. The swing on the porch was our favorite part. Everything was lit up with twinkle lights and it was so romantic. We chose to stay during february, and the weather wasn’t bad, but we would love to come back during the summer/fall! Our only regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back and will be bringing friends. Thanks for an awesome celebration for our 5.5 year dating anniversary! As two young, hardworking adults, this was the perfect escape from reality for a night. It truly makes a difference when the staff are so friendly and helpful. Thank you! -Jada”

“Their pizza is easily the best in the area!! We love it! We usually get the Deluxe, and its always hot and super yummy!! The staff is always friendly and accomodating. We picked up our pizza last night and there was a great band playing, made for a groovy time!! Would definitely recommend, try em out, you wont be disappointed!!?”

“11-17-23 I tried Coal Patch for the first time. My Stromboli was excellent, Was ready when I arrived and the young lady at the register was very nice courteous and went above and beyond to answer a few questions I had. I'm very please with my first experience and definitely will be back. Excellent ”

“Restaurant has been an icon in the area for years. Noted for good Italian food. Stopped for lunch on a cold Feb day.... It was cold inside as well... Second time recently for lunch there and second time it was cold inside. Will not go during the winter months again. Had a bowl of potato soup, it was good. Server wasn't the friendliest. Plenty of free parking and tables available. Nice cozy bar area.”

“Crispy chicken salad to go for roughly $10. It was good. Has beets, onions, cheese, chicken, tomatoes, shoestring fries. I ordered mine without tomato. It's a small cozy place. Everyone was nice & friendly. It was my first time trying it & I'll be going back for sure. I was able to park on the road but spaces are limited. Might have to park at the garage & walk about a block”

“This is a very homey local place with a rural charm you don't get in the city. Deserts are great, but I usually drive out of my way for the Buckwheat cakes in the AM. These are getting harder to find. Service has always been first rate and friendly.Parking: Large gravel lot.”

“Never been inside but i have them delivered. The food is ok, and they're very nice if they make mistakes. My only flaw i find is the cooking. The pizza dough are finished but the toppings are mostly raw. I ordered several pizzas and all were like that (except pepperoni). Had a Stromboli once and only the exterior was cooked. Inside everything was raw and doughy. I think the oven is too hot, or is their cooking style. I prefer the ingredients cooked though.But the people are extremely nice. Been a long time since I met any as nice. Also, the online menu needs updating.I wish they had pan pizza lol”

“It says pub and restaurant and I guess it is but it's mostly bar food. I met some other people there and it did take a while for the food to come out but I assume that is because of our party size.The touch tunes doesn't work in the table area, the music only plays in the pool table area. It was din, but I don't think I'd come back since I'm not local.The food was just there, the servers were fine, and it was nothing to write home about.Parking: Free parking lot on a slope.Wheelchair accessibility: There were two handicap parking spaces but I'm pretty sure the doors were narrower than 36"”

“Very delicious food! I got the triple dipper which is their app sampler. Had plenty to bring home as leftovers ? I had big mouth bites, fried mozzarella, and boneless buffalo wings. Wing flavor wasn't my favorite, but it was just different than regular buffalo sauce. Definitely would get again!”

“I don’t usually do reviews but for this I felt like I had to! The menu is amazing and different from anything else in the area. I had a chicken sandwich today and it was by far the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The sandwich my husband got was great and so was the ahi tuna appetizer… The restaurant itself is clean and beautifully remodeled. My husband and I are planning on making Vesta 88 a permanent place in our night out rotation!”

“Originally from Carmichaels and live in Maryland now but come to our spring, summer and fall place often and found this gem!!! Pastries, pepperoni rolls and breakfast were all superb. The breakfast was also very good with homemade italian bread toasted (was AMAZING). They also deliver out of state. Their nut rolls and little lady fingers are delicious - actually everything I have had from there is delicious. Ordering for delivery for Thanksgiving. A must try!”
