“Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. I did only get delivery via a third party service, but would certainly consider eating in next time. Will be eating here again!!!“

“We recently visited Halal Kabab and Curry and had a great experience. The samosas were crispy, the chicken biryani was flavorful, and the butter chicken was rich and creamy. The chicken karahi tasted fresh and authentic, and the butter naan and garlic naan were soft and perfect.
The mango lassi was refreshing, and the kark tea at the end was excellent. Everything felt freshly made, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!“

“Tiffin is a chain of Indian restaurants that my family of ardent Indian food loyalists, have patronized for almost 15 -16 years. The favorite is the location in Bryn Mawr. Our family favorites are the Baingan Bharta, Paneer Tikka Masala, kajoo mattar paneer, malai kofta, Aloo Papri Chaat, samosa chaat, garlic and plain naans and
Peshawari naan. We love the atmosphere and the friendly service from Rudra and team at Bryn Mawr. The only pain I see is the limited parking space at the Bryn Mar location . Definitely recommend this chain for quality of food and service.“

“My wife and I took my mom to a cooking class at Haneeda’s for her birthday. It turned out to be an amazing choice! Haneeda is extremely welcoming, you feel at home right away. The class is interactive and you really feel like you’re part of the process. Haneeda is thorough in her explanations while still allowing you to be hands-on during the process. The final product was some of (if not the) best Indian food we’ve ever had and you even get to keep the recipes to use in the future. We had a great time and will definitely be back again!“

“I've ordered takeout before but never dined in. There was no wait and my order was taken immediately. The food was incredible! My favorites were the lamb vindaloo and shrimp tandoori. The naan was fresh, and handled the vindaloo sauce 👌 when getting some lamb and potatoes. Glad I came in for lunch, I will definitely come back for more.“

“I come from Wilmington almost every weekend just for this food truck’s weekend special pulaos — they’re absolutely worth it! Not sure why they don’t have more reviews because everything I’ve tried here has been amazing. Pretty sure I’ve gone through their whole menu by now 😂
My must-eats: Stuffed Mirchi, Punugulu, Green Chilli Pulaos, and Schezwan Fried Rice.“

“Nice quaint place to eat in or take out. We had the place to ourselves at 5pm on a Tuesday but there was a steady flow of ppl picking up orders. Acknowledged immediately upon entering. Prices and serving portions were reasonable along with service and wait time. Had the butter chicken with classic naan. My friend frequents this location and others so opted for the chicken tikka masala with the garlic naan. No complaints with this being my first visit to this location.“

“Saffron Indian Kitchen in Wayne has become one of my go-to spots when I’m craving comforting Indian food that still feels a bit special. The vibe is relaxed and cozy inside, with a bright, clean dining room that works just as well for a casual weeknight dinner as it does for a low-key date night. Staff is friendly, attentive without hovering, and the food usually comes out pretty fast.
The menu has all the classics plus plenty of vegetarian options, and they’re happy to adjust the spice level, which is great if you’re dining with people who don’t like too much heat. Favorites at our table have been the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, lamb dishes, and their different naan, which always comes out warm and fresh. Portions are generous, prices feel fair for the area, and it works really well for both dine-in and takeout when you want something flavorful and satisfying.“

“We have been to Ekta several times now and it never disappoints. There are many Indian restaurants, but few who offer the combination of excellent food, service and prices. We highly recommend this restaurant. It's not fancy - just delicious and a great value.“

“We have been driving past this place for few years, and today decided to check it out.
What a treat, amazing genuine Indian food.
And most importantly they have buttermilk!!!
Cashier offered to try and see if we like buttermilk before paying for it. This was sweet… we bought large container after that.
Will be back and try other dishes.
You made my day. Keep it up 👍“
“Best Party hall and grocery store owners everAt first, I visited Dana Mandi when it was in downtown at chestnut street. I had mouth watering Paronthe Makhan naal with a big glass of tea then. After 5 years from that time, I recently tried finding this place out again and learned it got shifted to upper darby. I was traveling back to Newyork from DC with my parents and told them i will get you best quality punjabi tea from this place. To my surprise when I reached there, Sardar ji (the owner) told me that due to huge loss of property due to floods and almost no recurring customer base he had to shut down the food corner :(. I felt sad for their situation and politely asked them for an alternative place near by.He said wait, you are my guests now I will get you all some fresh tea from our kitchen downstairs. We sat in their party hall (which was under construction then and almost done) and he served us delicious tea as his vip guests and not the customers. Later, I also bought groceries for my house since we were heading back after the weekend trip.We felt so much warmth with the respect we received from the gentleman who had such bad time in previous years due to personal and professional setbacks as he mentioned during the conversation we hadI humbly request every one to give them a chance to revive and flourish as another local business in your area.God bless him and his family with health and wealth. I will surely come back a million times if God permits.“
