The fried green beans were still too hot to eat when we finished them because they were too good for us to wait for them to cool down! (I should have asked if I could buy a pint of the dipping sauce they were served with. It was amazing.) Sandwhich/burger were tasty and the perfect portion sizes. There was no ambient music in the dining room, which made the silence of the room feel a little jarring at first, but once I realized that I'm just accustomed to background music everywhere, the quiet of the room became a lot cozier. Loved the decor celebrating the history of the fire department. Dropped a pin on your location so next time we head north from Pittsburgh, I'll be able to see a reminder that I would love to stop back. Love that the revenue helps support the FD.
