“Really good food. It not the greatest Atmosphere but it is still good. I also like how the service is. One time a subway employee gave me a edit dipper. So as a person that live near thith subway I LOVE it.

Parking: The normally only 1 or 2 maby 3 but when the a event like the maple festival or forth of july.

Kid-friendliness: There a nice kid-friendly atmosphere and there no bad painting inside. It is probably more kid-friendly inside then outside.”

“The building is historic and quirky which is my kind of place. From the outside, it's a bit rough BUT inside was glorious! The exposed brick, comfy sleeping, clean room and comfy vibe. While I'm not a bike kind of gal, for those traveling the gap or trail head it's a great spot. Plus, it's secure. For those seeking a bit of the paranormal, it was a morgue at one time followed by church services years later-so take that as you wish. I'm planning a return trip for the winter with friends!”

“I'm told this place has the first liquor license in PA. Fran lives upstairs and still makes the chili, which was hearty and delicious. Be prepared for the smokey atmosphere, as Fran's is grandfathered under non-smoking law. Fran opened this place when she was 25, in 1950's! And it's the only place in town to sit down for a drink. Several Beam & Cokes and a big bowl of chili--$17!!! Need I say more?”

“Planned to order for an event 8-10-25 . Hours on door said opens at 12:30. At 5:00 pm, the place is dark and nobody around. In a small town ,a business will die quickly if not dependable.”

“There was a lot of items for sale to check out. Plenty of seating and coffee was good. BUT not one employee there greeted us or even asked how we were. When checking out the machine was placed in front of us to check out and the girl walked away didn't say thanks...come again....have a good day...NOTHING. Just didn't feel very welcoming at all.”

“Amy’s sweet treats made my son‘s birthday cake for his fourth birthday! It was a 12 inch round strawberry cake with buttercream icing! It was absolutely delicious. Two tears of cake that was out of this world delicious! Bursting with strawberry flavor and oozing with sweet buttercream goodness! My son absolutely loved the cake and ate several small pieces of it throughout the week even after his party! The cake served over 40 people, and there was still some left for the remainder of the week. Amy is friendly, organized, and timely! She had everything ready to go and her prices are outstandingly reasonable! I highly recommend this Hometown Business for your next sweet tooth celebration! 🎊”

“Everything was fantastic from the moment we walked in. James was our waiter and provided excellent service. He was very knowledgeable about items on the menu and made recommendations. We started with the crab fries for our appetizer. We had the Chicken Chesapeake and Hot Honey Chicken and Ribs for our entrees. It was the best meal I think I've ever had. We will definitely be making another trip.”

Parking: Street parking in front of bar, other side of street or side street parking. If busy day, you may have a park & walk to by way on sidewalk.”

“Got to love a dive bar in a small town! Plenty of free parking. Unique outdoor seating area at the back of the property, which is an old house. No beer on tap. Smoking inside allowed. Pool table.”

“The first I ate there in awhile. Got both sweet & hot wings along with Brian's speciality. Wings cooked perfectly and sauce on point. Never had Italian sub from there and it reminded me of Sheppards farms going towards Confluence. Excellent food and customer service.”
